Suzana Ardeleanu

	Suzana Ardeleanu Suzana Ardeleanu ( Suzana Tași; born 8 March 1946) is a Romanian fencer. She competed in the women's individual and team foil events at the 1980 Summer Olympics. Career Ardeleanu learnt fencing at a local club under coach Alexandru Csipler. She transferred in 1964 along with Ecaterina Iencic and Ileana Gyulai to CSA Steaua București, which are related to the football team Steaua Bucharest, where she was trained by Andrei Vâlcea. Along with Olga Szabo, Maria Vicol, Ana Ene-Derșidan and Ileana Gyulai, she became team world champion at the 1969 World Fencing Championships in Havana. 	Ileana Gyulai-Drîmbă-Jenei Ileana Gyulai-Drîmbă-Jenei ( Hungarian: Ilona Gyulai, 12 June 1946 – 25 August 2021) was a Romanian foil fencer. She competed at the 1964, 1968, 1972, and 1976 Olympics and won team bronze medals in 1968 and 1972, placing fifth in 1964. She was married to the fellow Olympic fencer Ion Drîmbă Ionel Alexandru "Ion" Drîmbă (also Drâmbă, March 18, 1942 – February 20, 2006) was a Romanian fencer. 	Ștefan Ardeleanu Ștefan Ardeleanu (born 1940) is a Romanian fencing, fencer and coach. Career Ardeleanu took up fencing with coach Alexandru Csipler at local clubs Unio, then Olimpia Satu Mare, before transferring to CSA Steaua București under coach Vasile Chelaru. He won the 1965 junior national championship in sabre, then switched to foil. With Ion Drîmbă, Iuliu Falb, Tănase Mureșanu and Mihai Țiu, he earned Romania's first team world title in fencing at the 1967 World Fencing Championships in Montreal. After his retirement as a fencer, he began a fencing coach career at CS Triumful in Bucharest. He assisted Ștefan Haukler as coach of the national woman's foil team from 1978 to 1980, before becoming principal coach. In 1992 he settled in Kuwait, then came back in 1998 to CS Satu Mare. 	Ana Derșidan-Ene-Pascu Ana Derșidan-Ene-Pascu (22 September 1944 – 6 April 2022) was a Romanian fencer and sport leader. She won a bronze medal in the women's team foil events at the 1968 and 1972 Summer Olympics. Biography The daughter of the vice-president of the Romanian Table Tennis Federation, Pascu was fascinated as a child by elite sport. Her first sport idols were table tennis players Angelica Rozeanu and Sari Szasz, who were then at the peak of their careers. When Pascu's father took a position at the Romanian Fencing Federation, she transferred her interests to the sport, which was practiced at the Athenaeum of Bucharest, and whose athletes spoke French.
