Susan Wanjiru
Susan "Sue" Wangui Wanjiru is a Kenyan actress. She is famous for two movies in which she acted in 2013 and 2017, titled "Something Necessary" and the award-winning " 18 Hours", respectively. She is also a Certified Public Accountant and the founder and key person in the social enterprise, Lokhem Kids Entertainment Ltd., which uses different media to teach children how to become better leaders. Career Wanjiru's earlier movie, "Something Necessary" released in 2013 was listed among the 10 best movies of the decade in Kenya. ''Something Necessary'' is a 2013 Kenyan drama film directed by Judy Kibinge. It was screened in the Contemporary World Cinema section at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival. ''18 Hours'' is a 2017 Kenyan drama film written and directed by Njue Kevin on his directorial debut. The cast includes Nick Ndeda, Sue Wanjiru, Brian Ogola, Isaya Evans and Shirleen Wangari. Judy Kibinge is a Kenyan filmmaker, writer and producer. She has produced, written and directed a number of films, best known are ''Something Necessary'' (2013), ''Dangerous Affair'' (2002), and ''Project Daddy'' (2004). She is also known for establishing DocuBox, a documentary film fund for African filmmakers to help them produce and distribute their film. She released her first film, ''The Aftermath'', in 2002 and critics have said that she uses her films to impart stories about Kenya, particularly those about women and others that are typically not told in mainstream Hollywood.
