''Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X'' is the 33rd season of the American CBS competitive reality television series ''Survivor (American TV series), Survivor''. It featured two initial tribes of ten new castaways divided by generation#Social generation, generation: Generation X, Gen X, born between 1963 and 1982, and Millennials, born between 1984 and 1997 (no one born in 1983 was cast this season). It is the third season to divide the castaways into tribes by age, following ''Survivor: Panama'' and ''Survivor: Nicaragua'', and the second season to film in Fiji, following ''Survivor: Fiji'', which was filmed in a different location. Jeff Probst
Jeff Probst (; born November 4, 1961) is an American reality show host and executive producer. He is best known as the Emmy Award-winning host of the U.S. version of the reality television show ''Survivor'' since 2000. He was also the host of '' The Jeff Probst Show'', a syndicated daytime talk show produced by CBS Television Distribution from September 2012 to May 2013. Early life Probst was born at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, to Jerry and Barbara Probst, and moved to Bellevue, Washington halfway through high school. After graduating from Newport High School in 1979, he attended Seattle Pacific University and worked at Boeing Motion Picture/Television studio as a producer and narrator of marketing videos. Sugarloaf Key is a single island in the lower Florida Keys that forms a loop on the Atlantic Ocean side giving the illusion of separate islands. Although frequently referred to simply and with technical accuracy as "Sugarloaf Key", this island contains two distinct island communities, known as Lower Sugarloaf Key and Upper Sugarloaf Key.
