Songs Written By Nickolas Ashford
A song is a musical composition intended to be performed by the human voice. This is often done at distinct and fixed pitches (melodies) using patterns of sound and silence. Songs contain various forms, such as those including the repetition and variation of sections. Written words created specifically for music, or for which music is specifically created, are called lyrics. If a pre-existing poem is set to composed music in classical music it is an art song. Songs that are sung on repeated pitches without distinct contours and patterns that rise and fall are called chants. Songs composed in a simple style that are learned informally "by ear" are often referred to as folk songs. Songs that are composed for professional singers who sell their recordings or live shows to the mass market are called popular songs. These songs, which have broad appeal, are often composed by professional songwriters, composers, and lyricists. Art songs are composed by trained classical compo ... Innocent Records Singles
Innocence is a lack of guilt, with respect to any kind of crime, or wrongdoing. In a legal context, innocence is to the lack of legal guilt of an individual, with respect to a crime. In other contexts, it is a lack of experience. In relation to knowledge Innocence can imply lesser experience in either a relative view to social peers, or by an absolute comparison to a more common normative scale. In contrast to '' ignorance'', it is generally viewed as a positive term, connoting an optimistic view of the world, in particular one where the lack of knowledge stems from a lack of wrongdoing, whereas greater knowledge comes from doing wrong. Subjects such as crime and sexuality may be especially considered. This connotation may be connected with a popular false etymology explaining "innocent" as meaning "not knowing" (Latin ''noscere'' (To know, learn)). The actual etymology is from general negation prefix ''in-'' and the Latin ''nocere'', "to harm". People who lack the ment ... 2003 Songs
3 (three) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 2 and preceding 4, and is the smallest odd prime number and the only prime preceding a square number. It has religious or cultural significance in many societies. Evolution of the Arabic digit The use of three lines to denote the number 3 occurred in many writing systems, including some (like Roman and Chinese numerals) that are still in use. That was also the original representation of 3 in the Brahmic (Indian) numerical notation, its earliest forms aligned vertically. However, during the Gupta Empire the sign was modified by the addition of a curve on each line. The Nāgarī script rotated the lines clockwise, so they appeared horizontally, and ended each line with a short downward stroke on the right. In cursive script, the three strokes were eventually connected to form a glyph resembling a with an additional stroke at the bottom: ३. The Indian digits spread to the Caliphate in the 9t ... Surrender (Javine Album)
"Surrender" is the debut studio album by English singer Javine. It was released through Innocent Records and Virgin Records on 28 June 2004 in the United Kingdom after being delayed from November 2003. The album features four singles, "Real Things", "Surrender (Your Love)", "Best of My Love" and "Don't Walk Away". In February 2005, ''Surrender'' was certified Gold in Japan. Critical reception Peter Robinson from ''The Guardian'' found that ''Surrender'' showcases Javine's "versatile, seductive vocal range, often recalling early Whitney Houston across convincing forays into commercial soul and futuristic R&B ..''Surrender'' is proof that if the reality pop format is incapable of producing, or even acknowledging, bona fide stars, it can't flatten the talent of those who escape it." BBC critic Colette Bridge called the album "an accomplished CD that could be pilfered for single after single in a Michael Jackson '' Thriller'' style, such is the quality on offer ..Above all you ...
