Sure Shot (rapper)
"Sure Shot" is a song by American hip hop group Beastie Boys, released by Grand Royal and Capitol as the third single from their fourth album, ''Ill Communication'' (1994), on June 2, 1994, two days after the album's release. The song was co-written by the group with Mario Caldato Jr., who also co-produced it with them. It features a looped sample of jazz flautist Jeremy Steig's song "Howlin' for Judy" from the 1970 album '' Legwork''. The brief vocal sample after the second verse ("''Oh yes indeed, it's fun time''") was taken from a comedy record by Moms Mabley. Release The CD and cassette maxi single (with a total of 7 tracks) features three remixes of the title track, by Large Professor, Mike Nardone and Dred Scott, and the Prunes, respectively. Beastie Boys
The Beastie Boys were an American Hip-hop, hip hop and Rap rock, rap rock group formed in New York City in 1979. They were composed of Ad-Rock, Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz (vocals, guitar), Adam Yauch, Adam "MCA" Yauch (vocals, bass), and Mike D, Michael "Mike D" Diamond (vocals, drums). The Beastie Boys were formed out of members of experimental hardcore punk band the Young Aborigines, which was formed in 1979, with Diamond on drums, Jeremy Shatan on bass guitar, John Berry (Beastie Boys), John Berry on guitar, and Kate Schellenbach later joining on percussion. When Shatan left New York City in mid-1981, Yauch replaced him on bass and the resulting band was named the Beastie Boys. Berry left shortly thereafter and was replaced by Horovitz. Mullet (haircut)
The mullet is a hairstyle in which the hair is cut shorter at the front, top and sides, but is longer at the back. Etymology According to the ''Oxford English Dictionary'', use of the term ''mullet'' to describe this hairstyle was "apparently coined, and certainly popularized, by American hip-hop group the Beastie Boys", who used "mullet" and "mullet head" as epithets in their 1994 song "Mullet Head", combining it with a description of the haircut: "Hair clipper#Blades, number one on the side and don't touch the back, number six on the top and don't cut it wack, Jack." The Dutch Single Top 100 or Single Top 100 is a Dutch chart, based on official physical single sales, legal downloads and since July 2013 streaming and composed by Dutch Charts.
