Suraj Jagan
Suraj Jagan (born 11 May 1967) is an Indian playback singer, actor and rockstar. He is noted for the song ''Give Me Some Sunshine'' from the award-winning movie 3 Idiots. The song received the "Best Emerging Male Performer" award in the Max Stardust Award. Jagan's singing career began in 1990, and has included both solo work and as front man for the rock band Dream Out Loud. He has also worked in advertising jingle campaigns, Bollywood playback singing, acting in theatre productions and an acting role in the Bollywood film ''Rock On!!'' & " Hunterrr". Suraj Bhan (archaeologist)
Suraj Bhan (1931–2010) was an Indian archaeologist and professor of archaeology. His academic work was said to bear a deep imprint of Marxism. He was also involved with the work of Communist Party of India (Marxist) in Haryana and took particular interest in the People's Science movement. He was part of a panel of academics which contested the Vishva Hindu Parishad's claim that the Babri Masjid was built on top of a Râm temple. Life and career Suraj Bhan was born in March 1931 in Montgomery (now in Pakistan) in a peasant family and later migrated to Haryana. He studied Economics and Sanskrit for a B.A. and M.A. at the Delhi University. Subsequently, he joined the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) in 1956 as a technical assistant. ''HaKokhav HaBa'' (; ) is an Israeli interactive reality singing competition, created by Keshet Media Group and broadcast on Channel 2 (from 2013 to 2017) and on Channel 12 (since 2017). Suraj Milind Yengde (born 1988) is an Indian scholar and activist known for his work on caste and race. He is a W.E.B. Du Bois Fellow at Harvard University and a research associate in the Department of African and African American Studies. He was named as one of the "25 Most Influential Young Indians of 2021" by GQ India. Early life Yengde was born in 1988 in Nanded, Maharashtra, to a Dalit Buddhist family. He earned a BSL and LLB from Nanded Law College between 2005 and 2010. Maharaja Suraj Mal (13 February 1707 – 25 December 1763), simply known as Suraj Mal, was a ruler of Bharatpur State in the present-day state of Rajasthan.
