Suraj Singh Thakuri
Suraj Singh Thakuri () is a television presenter and media executive who is the COO of Kantipur Television Network. Education Suraj attended Adarsha Vidya Mandir, Lalitpur, Nepal and completed college at Xavier Academy science college (NEF). He has a master's degree in Environmental Science. Professional career Thakur was the host of the Nepali television talk show ''Call Kantipur'' from its inception in 2003 until 2013. Subsequently, he presented the shows ''Ghumgam'' and the late-night show ''It's My Show''. He became the chief executive producer of Kantipur TV in 2021, and the company's COO in 2025. He has also directed and appeared in music videos. Thakuri received the presidential award Prabal Jana Sewa Shree in 2021. Kantipur Television, popularly known as Kantipur TV HD or KTV, is a private television station based in Kathmandu, Nepal. The chairman and managing director is Kailash Sirohiya. The CEO of Kantipur Television is Shishir Pachhai. Launched on 13 July 2003, KTV is licensed for terrestrial and satellite broadcasting. It initially only broadcast in the Kathmandu Valley terrestrially, but later expanded to other parts of Nepal after it began broadcasting on satellite television. Online Khabar is an independent private online news portal of Nepal established in 2006, providing news in Nepali and English languages. There is no print available from this media house.
