Superman Vs. Aliens
''Superman/Aliens'' is an American comic book limited series about a battle between the superhero Superman and the Xenomorphs from the ''Alien'' film series. The writers use the plot device of Superman's powers temporarily diminishing-due to him being in a location with a lack of sunlight that his body requires to give him his powers-to make the Xenomorphs a believable threat to him. Creative team on this miniseries: story and layout art by Dan Jurgens, with finished art by Kevin Nowlan. It was published by Dark Horse Comics in unison with DC Comics from July to September 1995. Dan Jurgens
Dan Jurgens (; born June 27, 1959) is an American comic book writer and artist. He is known for his work on the DC Comics, DC comic book storyline "The Death of Superman" and for creating characters such as Doomsday (DC Comics), Doomsday, Hank Henshaw, and Booster Gold. Jurgens had a lengthy run on the Superman comic books including ''Superman (comic book)#1986 revamp, The Adventures of Superman'', ''Superman vol. 2'' and ''Action Comics''. Superman And Batman Versus Aliens And Predator
''Superman and Batman versus Aliens and Predator'' is a comic book co-published by DC Comics and Dark Horse Comics. It was written by Mark Schultz, with art by Ariel Olivetti. It is a crossover in which Superman and Batman have to battle both the Aliens and Predator. While both superheroes have had crossovers with the monsters individually, this was the first time they were with both at the same time. DeSaad (also spelled Desaad) is a supervillain, appearing in books published by DC Comics. He is one of the followers of Darkseid from the planet Apokolips in Fourth World (comics), Jack Kirby's Fourth World meta-series. As DeSaad serves as Darkseid's master torturer, his name refers to the Marquis de Sade. At one point, DeSaad had an assistant named Justeen, a reference to de Sade's novel ''Justine (de Sade novel), Justine'', although she bore little resemblance to the title character. Orion is a fictional superhero appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. He is the son of Darkseid and half-brother of Kalibak and Grayven who was traded to Highfather as part of a peace deal between Apokolips and New Genesis.
