''Superfast'' is a studio album by the rock band Dynamite Hack, released in 2000. The album peaked at No. 84 on the ''Billboard'' 200. Production The album was produced by David Eaton. Slide Guitar
Slide guitar is a technique for playing the guitar that is often used in blues music. It involves playing a guitar while holding a hard object (a slide) against the strings, creating the opportunity for glissando effects and deep vibratos that reflect characteristics of the human singing voice. It typically involves playing the guitar in the traditional position (flat against the body) with the use of a slide fitted on one of the guitarist's fingers. The slide may be a metal or glass tube, such as the neck of a bottle, giving rise to the term bottleneck guitar to describe this type of playing. In popular music, a cover version, cover song, remake, revival, or simply cover is a new performance or recording by a musician other than the original performer or composer of the song. Originally, it referred to a version of a song released around the same time as the original in order to compete with it. Now, it refers to any subsequent version performed after the original. History The term "cover" goes back decades when cover version originally described a rival version of a tune recorded to compete with the recently released (original) version. Eric Lynn Wright (September 7, 1964 – March 26, 1995), known professionally as Eazy-E, was an American rapper who propelled West Coast rap and gangsta rap by leading the group N.W.A and its label, Ruthless Records. Eazy-E is often referred to as the "Godfather of Gangsta Rap". Born in Compton, California, Wright had several legal troubles before founding Ruthless in 1987. "Boyz-n-the-Hood" is the debut single by Eazy-E, then leader of rap group N.W.A. Released in March 1987, the single was a local hit, reissued, by year's end on the unauthorized compilation album '' N.W.A. and the Posse''. Background Eric Wright, who founded Ruthless Records in 1987, had tasked the Ruthless songcrafting team — record producer Dr. Dre, aided by Arabian Prince, and ghostwriter Ice Cube — to draft the song in line with Wright's vision. But when the song was rejected by the New York-based rap group it had first been pitched to, Wright decided to rap it himself, under the name "Eazy-E".
