Supercard Of Honor (2023)
The 2023 Supercard of Honor was a professional wrestling pay-per-view produced by American promotion Ring of Honor (ROH). It was the 16th Supercard of Honor and took place on March 31, 2023, at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California. Wrestlers from ROH's parent promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW), and partner promotions New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) were also featured. Twelve matches were contested at the event, including four on the Zero Hour pre-show. In the main event, Claudio Castagnoli retained the ROH World Championship against Eddie Kingston. Ring Of Honor
Ring of Honor (ROH) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Jacksonville, Florida. The promotion was founded by Rob Feinstein on February 23, 2002, and was operated by Cary Silkin from 2004 until 2011; the promotion was subsequently sold to the Sinclair Broadcast Group, and then sold to Tony Khan. Throughout the 2010s, ROH was considered the third largest wrestling promotion in the United States, behind WWE and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, initially operating on an internet distribution model. Under Sinclair's ownership, ROH began talent-sharing deals with wrestling companies outside the U.S., expanded their television visibility through Sinclair's broadcast stations, and eventually established its own streaming service in 2018 called Honor Club. Katsuyori Shibata
} is a Japanese professional wrestler, trainer, and former mixed martial artist. He is signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is a member of The Opps and is one-third of the AEW World Trios Champions with Samoa Joe and Powerhouse Hobbs. He also makes appearances for AEW's sister promotion Ring of Honor (ROH), where he is a former ROH Pure Champion. In professional wrestling, he is known for his hard hitting offense. Komander (born December 15, 1998) is a Mexican '' luchador enmascarado'' ( masked professional wrestler). He is signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is one-half of ''Los Titanes del Aire'' with Hologram. Mark Pugh (born January 18, 1985) is an American professional wrestler best known as Mark Briscoe. He is signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and Ring of Honor (ROH), where he made a name teaming with his brother Jay as the Briscoe Brothers. Ladder Match
A ladder match is a type of match in professional wrestling, most commonly one in which an item (usually a title belt) is hung above the ring, and the winner is the contestant who climbs a ladder and retrieves the item. The ladder itself becomes a key feature of the match, as wrestlers will use the ladder as a weapon to strike the opponent(s), as a launching pad for acrobatic attacks, and frequently these matches include impressive falls from the top of the ladder. There have been a few matches in which the hung item must be used in a special manner in order to win the match, such as striking the opponent with the item (see Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Scott Hall taser match, where one must strike the opponent with the taser, regardless of who retrieved the taser first). La Facción Ingobernable
''Los Ingobernables'' (Spanish for "The Ungovernables") is a ''lucha libre'' (Mexican professional wrestling) stable based in the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) promotion. It was formed in April 2014 by La Máscara, Rush and La Sombra, and has since become renowned as one of the top antagonistic groups in CMLL history. Matt Taven and Mike Bennett (wrestler), Mike Bennett are together a professional wrestling tag team. They wrestle for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and its sister promotion Ring of Honor (ROH), where they are part of The Kingdom (professional wrestling), The Kingdom stable (professional wrestling), stable.
