"Super Straight" (also styled as Superstraight) is a song by Australian rock band Regurgitator. The song was released in October 2001 as the second single from the band's fourth studio album ''Eduardo and Rodriguez Wage War on T-Wrecks''. The single peaked at number 55 in Australia and it ranked at number 41 on Triple J's Hottest 100 in 2001. In 2019, Tyler Jenke from The Brag ranked Regurgitator's best songs, with "Super Straight" coming it at number 10. Jenke said "'Super Straight' might hold the distinction as Regurgitator's most 'normal'-sounding song, with lyrics that speak of a family hiding some dark secrets." Tingalpa is a suburb in the City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. In the , Tingalpa had a population of 8,290 people. Geography The suburb has some older style homes built in the post war period – weatherboard and chamferboard post war cottages in particular. Most of the new estates are made up of typically low set and high set brick and tile homes. Previously the land that is now being developed into residential zones was devoted to small farmlets and semi-industrial developments. The recent developments, which occurred in the last five years, are increasing the population and the median house prices of the suburb. Bognor Regis (), sometimes simply known as Bognor (), is a town and seaside resort in West Sussex on the south coast of England, south-west of London, west of Brighton, south-east of Chichester and east of Portsmouth. Triple J (stylised in all lowercase) is a government-funded, national Australian radio station intended to appeal to listeners of alternative music, which began broadcasting in January 1975. The 2001 Triple J Hottest 100, announced in January 2002, was the ninth such countdown of the most popular songs of the year, according to listeners of the Australian radio station Triple J. As in previous years, a CD was released, this time featuring 34 songs (although not the top 34 songs as they were ranked). When the announcers for the final stretch of the countdown—Adam Spencer and Wil Anderson—got to the number-one track, they first played their own parody track " Matt Hayden", named after the Australian cricketer and set to the tune of "Ms. Jackson" by OutKast. "Ms. Jackson" actually reached the Hottest 100 the next year in 2002 when a cover by The Vines took it to number 30.
