Super Mario War
''Super Mario War'' is an open-source video game, open-source, platform game#Platform-adventure games, platform-adventure video game and level editor first released in 2004. It is based upon gameplay elements and audiovisual media that are unofficially cloned from Nintendo's ''Super Mario'' series. The game centers on players fighting each other by one player jumping on the other player's head, or by making use of items, which can be picked up during gameplay. Gameplay The gameplay is somewhat simple. In various game modes, players may jump on each other's heads to defeat each other or they may use items found in the power-up boxes. Florian Hufsky
Florian Hufsky (November 13, 1986 – December 16, 2009) was an Austrian new media artist, Computer Hacker, political activist, founder and former board member of the Pirate Party of Austria. He studied graphic design at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, but committed suicide before he could finish his studies. Hufsky was a founding member of both the Viennese branch of ''Graffiti Research Lab'' and ''soup.io''. He also created the ''Super Mario'' derivate '' Super Mario War'', was a member of the programming and design group "72dpiarmy" and of Vienna's hackerspace Metalab. Pascal is an imperative and procedural programming language, designed by Niklaus Wirth as a small, efficient language intended to encourage good programming practices using structured programming and data structuring. It is named in honour of the French mathematician, philosopher and physicist Blaise Pascal. Pascal was developed on the pattern of the ALGOL 60 language.
