Super-Turtle
Super-Turtle (or Super Turtle) is a fictional character from DC Comics, created by Henry Boltinoff; he is depicted as a bipedal anthropomorphic turtle wearing a cape like Superman's. His emblem, which is on his cape, is a letter T in a shield. Publication history Created to be a lighthearted parody of Superman, Super-Turtle appeared mostly in one-page comic stories in Silver Age comic books, starting in ''Adventure Comics'' #304 (January 1963). An accepted part of DC Comics history, Super-Turtle tends to show up once in a while in one form or another; e.g., a Super-Turtle figure hangs from the ceiling of the Planet Krypton restaurant in '' Kingdom Come'' and he had a cameo appearance in the one-shot '' Superman and Batman: World's Funnest''. Two one-page Super-Turtle stories were created for and appeared in the 2000 '' Silver Age'' series. Henry Boltinoff
Henry Boltinoff (February 19, 1914 – April 26, 2001) was an American cartoonist who worked for both comic strips and comic books. He was a prolific cartoonist and drew many of the humor and filler strips that appeared in National Periodical comics from the 1940s through the 1960s. Biography Comic books Born in New York City, Boltinoff created numerous humor features for DC Comics, where his brother Murray Boltinoff was an editor. His most prominent creation for DC was "Dover & Clover" which debuted in ''More Fun Comics'' #94 (Nov. 1943). World's Funnest
''Superman and Batman: World's Funnest'' is an American single issue prestige format comic book published in 2000 by DC Comics. It was written by Evan Dorkin and illustrated by many artists. It is an Elseworlds tale and as such is not considered part of the main DC canon/ continuity. Despite the title, Batman and Superman play only a small role in the story which stars instead Mr. Mxyzptlk and Bat-Mite as the main protagonists. The book pokes fun at many comic book conventions and DC heroes from the Golden through to the Modern Ages. Its setting is a multiverse similar to the Pre-''Crisis'' DCU but also includes references to other Elseworlds tales ( ''Kingdom Come'' and '' Batman: The Dark Knight Returns''), the modern DCU, the DCAU and even pays a visit to ''Crisis on Infinite Earths''. The Galápagos Islands ( es, Islas Galápagos) are an archipelago of volcanic islands in the Eastern Pacific, located around the Equator west of the mainland of South America. They form the Galápagos Province of the Republic of Ecuador, with a population of slightly over 33,000 (2020). The province is divided into the Cantons of Ecuador, cantons of San Cristóbal Island, San Cristóbal, Santa Cruz Island (Galápagos), Santa Cruz, and Isabela Island (Galápagos), Isabela, the three most populated islands in the chain. The Galápagos are famous for their large number of Endemism, endemic species, which were studied by Charles Darwin in the 1830s and inception of Darwin's theory, inspired his theory of evolution by means of natural selection. Superboy (Kon-El)
Superboy (also known as Kon-El or Conner Kent) is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. A modern variation on Superboy (Kal-El), the original Superboy, the character first appeared as Superboy in ''The Adventures of Superman (comic book), The Adventures of Superman'' #500 (June 1993), and was created by writer Karl Kesel and artist Tom Grummett. From the character's debut in 1993 to August 2003, Superboy was depicted as a genetically-engineered metahuman human cloning, clone of human origin designed by Project Cadmus as a duplicate and closest genetic equivalent of Superman. The character was retroactive continuity, retconned in ''Teen Titans (comic series), Teen Titans'' (vol. 3) #1 (September 2003) as a human/Kryptonian binary clone made from the DNA of Superman and Lex Luthor.
