Sunil P. Ilayidom
Sunil P. Ilayidom is an Indian writer, critic, orator and university professor in Malayalam language. He writes and lectures on politics, literature, art and culture. He has received the Kerala Lalithakala Akademi and is a two-time recipient of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award. Biography Sunil P. Ilayidom, born in 1968 to M. C. Pankajakshan Elayidom and Ramani Devi at Kottuvally, a village in Ernakulam district in the south Indian state of Kerala, did his early schooling at the government upper primary school in his village and at Rama Varma Union High School, in Cherai. Subsequently, he completed his college studies at Sree Narayana Mangalam College, Maliankara and Maharaja's College, Ernakulam and started his career as a teacher at Lakshmi College, Paravur. Kottuvally is a census town in Paravoor.It is also a village in Paravur Taluk, Ernakulam district in the Indian state of Kerala. The village is situated in the south of the taluk. North Paravur. formerly known as Paravur or Parur, is a municipality and suburb in Ernakulam district in the Indian state of Kerala. Davesh Soneji is a social historian working in the field of performing arts, addressing issues of gender, class, and caste especially in the colonial context. He teaches in the Department of South Asia Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. His work focuses on religion and the performing arts in South India His best known work is ''Unfinished Gestures: Devadāsīs, Memory, and Modernity in South Indi''a; it was awarded the 2013 Bernard S. Cohn Book Prize from The Association for Asian Studies (AAS). State Bank of Travancore (SBT) was a major Indian bank headquartered in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, and was a major associate of State Bank of India. K. Ravindran (1945–2011), better known by his pen-name Chintha Ravi, was an Indian writer, journalist, film critic and film director. Mullanezhi
Mullanezhi Neelakandan Namboothiri (1948–2011), popularly known as Mullanezhi, was a Malayalam poet, playwright, lyricist and actor from Thrissur in Kerala state of India. He was awarded the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award twice: in 1995 for the drama ''Samathalam'' and in 2010 for the poetry collection ''Kavitha''. Kerala Sahitya Akademi
The Kerala Sahitya Akademi or Academy for Malayalam literature is an autonomous body established to promote the Malayalam language and literature. It is situated in City of Thrissur, Kerala in India. History The academy was inaugurated on 15 October 1956, by Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma, the former king of Travancore, in Thiruvananthapuram. It was shifted to its present location at City of Thrissur in September, 1957.
