Sung Han-kook
Sung Han-kook (born November 19, 1963) is a former badminton player and coach from South Korea. Career Sung won the men's singles title at the 1986 U.S. Open and earlier that year, he won bronze at the 1986 Asian Games as well as men's team gold. He was also a part of the team that finished as runner-up at the inaugural Sudirman Cup in 1989. In 1989, Sung married two-time All England winner Kim Yun-ja. Badminton
Badminton is a racquet sport played using racket (sports equipment), racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net (device), net. Although it may be played with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are "singles" (with one player per side) and "doubles" (with two players per side). Badminton is often played as a casual outdoor activity in a yard or on a beach; formal games are played on a rectangular indoor court. Points are scored by striking the shuttlecock with the racquet and landing it within the opposing side's half of the court. Jalani Sidek
Datuk Jalani Sidek (born 12 November 1964) is a former badminton player from Malaysia and coach. Personal life He is the third eldest of the five Sidek brothers. Jalani and his siblings gained exposure about badminton sport from their father, Haji Mohd Sidek. Under the guidance of his father, Jalani and the rest of his siblings were trained to be champions. In addition, he is also one of the alumnus of Victoria Institution (batch 1976-1982). The French Open (french: Internationaux de France de Badminton) is an annual badminton tournament held in France since 1909 and hosted by the Fédération Française de Badminton (FFBad). Christian Hadinata (, born 11 December 1949) is a former Chinese Indonesian badminton player. Profile Though early in his career he was a fine singles player who reached the final of the prestigious All-England Championship in 1973, Christian's success in doubles earned him recognition as one of the great doubles players in badminton history. He won two gold medals at the 1980 IBF World Championships in Jakarta, in men's doubles with Ade Chandra, and in mixed doubles with Imelda Wiguna. He played for Indonesia for 15 years, beginning his career in 1971 at the Asian championships in Indonesia and managed to become a mixed doubles champion with Retno Koestijah. Park Joo-bong (Hangul: 박주봉; Hanja: 朴柱奉; born 5 December 1964) is a former badminton player from South Korea who excelled from the early 1980s through the mid-1990s. Career Park is one of the most successful players ever in the World Badminton Championships with 5 titles, 2 of them in men's doubles and 3 in mixed doubles. Yang Yang (; born December 8, 1963 in Nanjing, Jiangsu) is a former Chinese badminton player.
