Sundarayyar is an Indian singer, school teacher and street play performer. He is a recipient of one of India's most prestigious award, "The National award". He was awarded the National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer in the year 2017 for lending his vocals for the soundtrack of film Joker's song "Jasemin-u".The award is highest recognition in India for playback singers. ''Super Singer Season 10'' is a 2023–2024 Indian Tamil-language reality television singing competition show. The tenth season of Super Singer airs every Saturday and Sunday on Star Vijay from 16 December 2023, and streams on Disney+ Hotstar. Ma Ka Pa Anand and Priyanka Deshpande returned as hosts for this season. The #Judges, judging panel for this season included four judges: one music composer Sean Roldan, and playback singers, Anuradha Sriram, Mano (singer), Mano, and Sujatha Mohan. National Film Award For Best Male Playback Singer
The National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer is an honour presented annually at the National Film Awards of India since 1968 to a male playback singer for the best renditions of songs from films within the Indian film industry. The award was first granted to Mahendra Kapoor in 1967. Dharmapuri District
Dharmapuri is one of the 38 districts in the state of Tamil-Nadu, India. A playback singer, as they are usually known in South Asian cinema, or ghost singer in Western cinema, is a singer whose performance is pre-recorded for use in films.
