Sun-bin Bong
Crown Princess Sun of the Haeum Bong clan (; 1414–after 1454) was the second wife of Munjong of Joseon. Before her husband's accession to the throne, she was banished after it was discovered that she was sleeping with one of her handmaids. Biography Lady Bong became the Crown Princess Sun (Hanja: 純嬪; ) in 1429, a few months after her predecessor, Deposed Crown Princess Kim, Crown Princess Hwi, was thrown out of the palace for witchcraft. Joseon
Joseon ( ; ; also romanized as ''Chosun''), officially Great Joseon (), was a dynastic kingdom of Korea that existed for 505 years. It was founded by Taejo of Joseon in July 1392 and replaced by the Korean Empire in October 1897. The kingdom was founded following the aftermath of the overthrow of Goryeo in what is today the city of Kaesong. Early on, Korea was retitled and the capital was relocated to modern-day Seoul. The kingdom's northernmost borders were expanded to the natural boundaries at the rivers of Yalu River, Amnok and Tumen River, Tuman through the subjugation of the Jurchen people, Jurchens. Veritable Records Of The Joseon Dynasty
The ''Veritable Records of the Joseon Dynasty'', sometimes called ''sillok'' () for short, are state-compiled and published records, called Veritable Records, documenting the reigns of the kings of the Joseon dynasty in Korea. Kept from 1392 to 1865, they comprise 1,893 volumes and are thought to be the longest continual documentation of a single dynasty in the world. The records of the last two monarchs are believed to have been influenced by the Japanese colonial rule and, therefore, their credibility compromised. Excluding the records of the last two kings, the ''sillok'' is designated as the 151st national treasure of South Korea and listed in UNESCO's Memory of the World registry. ''KBS Drama Special'' () is a South Korean anthology series created and broadcast by KBS2, with each episode having a different story, cast, director and scriptwriter. The format is based on its predecessor '' Drama City'' and MBC's Best Theater. ''Drama City'' ended its run in 2008 after 14 years.
