Sultan Abdul Aziz Royal Gallery
The Sultan Abdul Aziz Royal Gallery () is a gallery in Klang District, Selangor, Malaysia. The gallery is about the former Selangor Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah. The Royal Gallery is currently chaired by then nephew of Salahuddin of Selangor, Tengku Indera Pahlawan Diraja Selangor (Yang Amat Dihormati Tengku Dato' Setia Putra Alhaj bin Tengku Azman Shah Alhaj). History The museum building was initially constructed as Sultan Sulaeman Building in 1909. During the British Malaya, the British government used the building as the land and administration office. During the Japanese rule of Malaya, it was used as war headquarter. After the independence of Malaya in 1957, it was used as Klang District office. The museum was initially opened in 1988 as the Memorial Museum (). The gallery was officiated on 19 October 2007 by Sultan Sharafuddin. Klang District
The Klang District is a district in Selangor, Malaysia. It is located in the western part of Selangor. It borders the Kuala Selangor District to the north, Petaling to the east, Kuala Langat district to the south and Malacca Straits to the west. Arthur Benison Hubback
Arthur Benison Hubback (13 April 1871 – 8 May 1948) was a British Army officer and architect who designed several important buildings in British Malaya, in both Indo-Saracenic architecture and European "Wrenaissance" styles. Major works credited to him include Kuala Lumpur railway station, Ubudiah Mosque, Jamek Mosque, National Textile Museum, Panggung Bandaraya DBKL, Ipoh railway station, and Kowloon railway station (KCR), Kowloon railway station. After an English training in Liverpool, he arrived in Malaya in 1895, and by 1900 was appointed chief government architect of the British-run Federated Malay States, returning to Britain in 1914 at the start of World War I, though he did not officially resign until 1917. The Klang Komuter station (formerly known as the Klang railway station) is a train station served by the KTM Komuter's Port Klang Line train service in Malaysia.
