Sullurupeta Mandal
Sullurupeta is a town in Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is a municipality and the headquarters of Sullurupeta mandal and Sullurupeta revenue division. It serves as a gateway to Satish Dhawan Space Centre(SDSC) at Sriharikota. Geography Sullurupeta is located about 77 km east of Tirupati, 90 km south of Nellore and about 83 km north of Chennai, Tamilnadu. It is 16 km west of the world-famous ISRO island Sriharikota, where the Indian rockets are launched. The Pulicat lake separates Sullurupeta and Sriharikota. It has an average elevation of 11 meters (36 feet). Ubbalamadugu Falls
Ubbalamudugu Falls (also called Tada Falls) is a waterfall located near Oneness Temple and Sricity in the Tirupati district of India. It is a clear waterfall falling from a height of 100 meters. Coming under the Buchinaidu kandriga and Varadaiahpalem mandals the falls are located from Chennai and from Srikalahasti. The falls are located in a dense forest called the '' Siddulaiah Kona''. Nelapattu Bird Sanctuary
Nelapattu Bird Sanctuary is a bird sanctuary in Tirupati district, Andhra Pradesh, India, near the village of Nelapattu. It has an area of 458.92 hectares. It is an important breeding site for spot-billed pelicans (''Pelecanus philippensis''). Nelapattu has two major plant communities, '' Barringtonia'' swamp forests and southern dry evergreen scrub. Southern dry evergreen scrub covers most of the sanctuary, including the 288 hectares of Kalluru Reserved Forest and 88 hectares of unreserved forest. Pulicat Lake
Pulicat Lake is the second-largest brackish-water lagoon in India (after Chilika Lake), measuring . A major part of the lagoon lies in the Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh. The lagoon is one of three important wetlands that attracts northeast monsoon rainclouds during the October-to-December season. The lagoon comprises the following regions: Pulicat Lake (Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu), Marshy/Wetland Land Region (AP), Venadu Reserve Forest (AP), and Pernadu Reserve Forest (AP). The lagoon was cut across in the middle by the Sriharikota Link Road, which divided the water body into lagoon and marshy land. The lagoon encompasses the Pulicat Lake Bird Sanctuary. Chengalamma Parameshwari Temple
Chengalamma Parameshwari Temple is located in Sullurpeta town of Tirupati district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.
