Suliko Davitashvili (footballer)
Suliko Davitashvili ( ka, სულიკო დავითაშვილი; born 11 December 1977) is a retired Georgian football player and manager. Being the three-time national cup winner and two-time top scorer of the Umaglesi Liga, Davitashvili spent his entire career in Georgia. He is also a member of the 100 club comprising the players with a hundred or more goals. Playing career Davitashvili started his career at now defunct club Merani-91 in 1996. During four seasons, he took part in 100 league matches, scoring 33 times. His first professional goal came on 5 August 1996 against Kolkheti 1913. A year later, Davitashvili netted his first European goal against Maltese club Floriana in a 5–0 home win. In 2000, Davitashvili moved to Locomotive. He gave his team the lead against Torpedo Kutaisi in the final of the 2001-02 Georgian Cup tournament to win the first title of his career. FC Locomotive Tbilisi, commonly referred to as Lokomotivi or simply Loco, is a Georgian professional football club based Tbilisi. The club competes in the Erovnuli Liga 2, the second tier of Georgian football. During the existence of the USSR the club was a part of the Lokomotiv Voluntary Sports Society. The club has strong connections with the Georgian Railways. History Locomotive was founded on 14 August 1936 as a part of Lokomotiv sports society. The club won Georgian championship in 1937, which gave them the permission to participate in USSR Top League. Their debut season in the highest level of the Soviet football championship came in 1938, where the club took 24th place out of 26 and got relegated. Zuriko "Zuka" Davitashvili () ( ka, ზურიკო დავითაშვილი, tr; born 15 February 2001) is a Georgian professional footballer who plays as a left winger for Ligue 1 club Saint-Étienne and the Georgia national team. He also plays as an attacking midfielder. Club career Early career Davitashvili made his career debut for Dinamo Tbilisi on 29 September 2017 in a match against Kolkheti Poti. Erovnuli Liga 2
The Georgian Erovnuli Liga 2 ( ka, ეროვნული ლიგა 2; ), organized since 1990 by the GFF, serves as the second division of professional football in Georgia. The league was introduced for the 2017 season under the current name as a part of reorganization process of the entire league system. It was formerly known as Pirveli liga (the First league). Structure There are ten clubs competing in Erovnuli Liga 2. During the season each club plays each other four times, twice at home and twice away. At the end of each season the winner gains automatic promotion and the bottom club is relegated. The runner-up and 3rd placed team participate in two-legged home and away play-off matches against the 9th and 8th placed clubs of Erovnuli Liga, respectively. In case two or more teams obtain an equal number of points, final standings are determined by an aggregate of the results between them. Kakha Gogichaishvili
Kakhaber Gogichaishvili ( Georgian: კახაბერ 'კახი' გოგიჩაიშვილი; born 31 October 1968) is a Georgian former professional footballer who played as a defender who was capped 27 times for Georgia between 1992 and 2000. He scored one goal, a penalty kick in Georgia's 6–3 win over Azerbaijan in 1992 (Azerbaijan's first international match). At club level, Gogichaishvili played for Tbilisi clubs Shevardeni-1906, Dinamo, Lokomotivi and Merani-Olimpi Tbilisi. Coaching career After retiring Gogichaishvili began coaching. During 2013–14 season, he was the head coach of Dinamo Tbilisi's reserve team. FC WIT Georgia is a Georgian football team from Tbilisi. The team is sponsored by WIT Georgia Ltd (a subsidiary of the United States WIT, Inc.), a pet food, accessories, and human and veterinary pharmaceuticals import company. FC Dila ('' Georgian'': საფეხბურთო კლუბი დილა) is a Georgian professional football club based in Gori. GKS Bełchatów is a Polish professional football club based in Bełchatów. The club currently competes in group I of the III liga. History GKS Bełchatów entered Poland's Klasa A in 1977 under the name of Węgiel Brunatny Bełchatów, and gained promotion to the III liga in the 1981–82 season.
