Suleman Khan (secretary)
Suleman Khan is the secretary of the Ministry of Education and is in charge of the Secondary and Higher Education Division. He is the former chairman of the Land Reform Board. Early life Khan passed his SSC from Mahishasura BK High School and HSC from Dhaka College in 1982 and 1984 respectively. He did his bachelor's and master's in accounting from the University of Dhaka in 1987 and 1988 respectively. He did his master's degree in economics at Yamaguchi University. Career Khan joined the 11th batch of the Bangladesh Civil Service in 1991 as an administration cadre. He was assistant commissioner of land in Sylhet Division. Then promoted to Senior Assistant Commissioner. In 2005, Khan was the upazila nirbahi officer of Shivalaya Upazila in Manikganj District. In 2016, Khan was promoted to joint secretary and made director of Health Economics Unit. Md. Abdul Wajed Chowdhury (died 31 July 1992) was a Bangladesh Awami League politician and a Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Rajbari-1 constituency. The Health Services Division () is a Bangladesh government division under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare responsible for healthcare in Bangladesh.
