Sulawesifulvius
''Sulawesifulvius'' is a genus of true bugs in the family Miridae. The genus was described in 2004 based on a specimen collected by fogging of the forest canopy in Sulawesi. It was found to be unlike any other members in the subfamily Cylapinae. The type species was named in honour of entomologist Randall T. Schuh. Almost nothing is known of the biology of the species. ''Sulawesifulvius'' looks similar to ''Peritropis'' but is more flattened with tubercles on the vertex and frons, a short beak and prominent angles in fronts of the pronotum (top of thorax). The genus was monotypic until a second species was described in 2014 from Yinggeling National Nature Reserve in the Hainan Hainan (, ; ) is the smallest and southernmost province of the People's Republic of China (PRC), consisting of various islands in the South China Sea. , the largest and most populous island in China,The island of Taiwan, which is slight ... Helopeltis Antonii
''Helopeltis antonii'', also known as the tea mosquito bug, are heteropterans found within the Miridae family. They have a relatively large geographical distribution and are a known pest of many agricultural “cash” crops such as cocoa, cashew, and tea. Subsequently, their impact negatively influences economic growth within the regions in which they inhabit. Thus, their impact on humans has caused them to be of great interest biologically, resulting in significant environmental implications. Distribution ''Helopeltis antonii'' are found in a region known as the old-world tropics which encompasses places such as India, Northern Australia, Guinea, Vietnam, Tanzania, Nigeria, and Indonesia.Rebijith, K. Miridae
The Miridae are a large and diverse insect family at one time known by the taxonomic synonym Capsidae. Species in the family may be referred to as capsid bugs or "mirid bugs". Common names include plant bugs, leaf bugs, and grass bugs. It is the largest family of true bugs belonging to the suborder Heteroptera; it includes over 10,000 known species, and new ones are being described constantly. Most widely known mirids are species that are notorious agricultural pests that pierce plant tissues, feed on the sap, and sometimes transmit viral plant diseases. Some species however, are predatory. Description Miridae are small, terrestrial insects, usually oval-shaped or elongate and measuring less than in length. Many of them have a hunched look, because of the shape of the prothorax, which carries the head bent down. Some are brightly coloured and attractively patterned, others drab or dark, most being inconspicuous. Some genera are ant mimics at certain stages of life. The Mi ...

Fogging (entomology)
Fogging is a technique used for killing insects that involves using a fine pesticide spray (aerosol) which is directed by a blower. In some cases, a hot vapour may be used to carry the spray and keep it airborne for longer. Fast-acting pesticides like pyrethroids are typically used. This is widely used for sampling or studying insects in the canopy of tall forests which cannot be effectively reached. The floor below the trees are lined with plastic sheets and the fog causes insects to fall in the rain. These are collected for later study in the laboratory. Fogging is also used for controlling insects in closed spaces like greenhouse A greenhouse (also called a glasshouse, or, if with sufficient heating, a hothouse) is a structure with walls and roof made chiefly of transparent material, such as glass, in which plants requiring regulated climatic conditions are grown. These ...s, homes and basements. Sulawesi
Sulawesi (), also known as Celebes (), is an island in Indonesia. One of the four Greater Sunda Islands, and the world's eleventh-largest island, it is situated east of Borneo, west of the Maluku Islands, and south of Mindanao and the Sulu Archipelago. Within Indonesia, only Sumatra, Borneo, and Papua are larger in territory, and only Java and Sumatra have larger populations. The landmass of Sulawesi includes four peninsulas: the northern Minahasa Peninsula, the East Peninsula, the South Peninsula, and the Southeast Peninsula. Three gulfs separate these peninsulas: the Gulf of Tomini between the northern Minahasa and East peninsulas, the Tolo Gulf between the East and Southeast peninsulas, and the Bone Gulf between the South and Southeast peninsulas. The Strait of Makassar runs along the western side of the island and separates the island from Borneo. Etymology The name ''Sulawesi'' possibly comes from the words ''sula'' ("island") and ''besi'' ("iron") and may ref ...

In 2016, two new species of plants were discovered, which were found only in the Yinggeling National Nature Reserve, namely ''Cladopus yinggelingensis'' and ''Terniopsis daoyinensis''.
