Šulak
In the Babylonian magico-medical tradition, Šulak is the lurker of the bathroom or the demon of the privy. Šulak appears in the Babylonian ''Diagnostic Handbook'' (Tablet XXVII), in which various diseases are described and attributed to the "hand" of a god, goddess, or spirit. A "lurker" is a type of demon who lies in wait in places where a potential victim is likely to be alone. When a man attends to excretory functions or elimination, he is exposed and hence vulnerable: "Šulak will hit him!" The "hit" may be a type of "stroke" (''mišittu''). The demon referred to as "The Hitter" or "Striker" elsewhere in the handbook may be Šulak identified by an epithet. A much earlier reference to this demon is found in a Hittite diagnostic text. Ancient folk etymology held that the name Šulak derived from a phrase meaning "dirty hands", due to his dwelling in the ''bīt musâti'' - literally "house of rinse-water", i.e. lavatory. Libor Šulák
Libor Šulák (born 4 March 1994) is a Czech professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for Admiral Vladivostok of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He has formerly played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Detroit Red Wings. Playing career Šulák made his Czech Extraliga debut playing with Piráti Chomutov during the 2013–14 season. During the 2015–16 season playing with Orli Znojmo, Šulák recorded six goals and 12 assists in 52 games and was named the league's rookie of the year. In the following 2016–17 season with Orli Znojmo, Šulák placed fourth on the team with 10 goals and 18 assists and a team-best plus-19 rating in 54 games. Lawrence Sulak (born August 29, 1944) is an American physicist, currently the David M. Myers Distinguished Professor at Boston University. Some of Sulak's research has included Higgs detection at the Compact Muon Solenoid in the Large Hadron Collider, neutrino physics, astrophysics, and contributing work for the Monopole, Astrophysics and Cosmic Ray Observatory. The 1986 book ''Second Creation'' on the history of modern particle physics by Robert Crease and Charles Mann opened with a description of being escorted by Larry Sulak down to the experimental halls of the salt mine under Lake Erie in Ohio converted to a proton decay detector designed by Sulak and the rest of the Irvine Michigan Brookhaven collaboration. Sulak Sivaraksa ( th, สุลักษณ์ ศิวรักษ์; ; pronounced ; born 27 March 1933 in Siam) is a Thai social activist, professor, writer and the founder and director of the Thai NGO " Sathirakoses-Nagapradeepa Foundation", named after two authorities on Thai culture, Sathirakoses (Phya Anuman Rajadhon) and Nagapradeepa (Phra Saraprasoet). Stryker Sulak (born June 17, 1986) is a former American football linebacker with the Green Bay Packers. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the sixth round of the 2009 NFL Draft but was waived before he signed a contract. He played college football at Missouri.
