Sukree Onsham
Sukree Onsham (born 8 October 1944) is a professional golfer from Thailand. He was the most successful Thai golfer of his era. Professional career Onsham started his career as the club professional for Royal Bangkok Sports Club in Bangkok, Thailand. He participated in the World Cup in 1969. Onsham was the first man from Thailand to play in the Masters, playing in the 1970 Masters Tournament, 1970 and 1971 Masters Tournament, 1971 events. He missed the cut both years. He is often referred to as the first non-white person to play at the Masters; this is false. The Japanese golfers Torakichi Nakamura and Koichi Ono played in the 1958 Masters Tournament well before Onsham. Royal Bangkok Sports Club
The Royal Bangkok Sports Club (RBSC, ) is an exclusive sports club in Bangkok, Thailand, best known to the public for its horse racing venue. The is Japan's national open golf championship. Founded in 1927, it is one of the oldest professional golf tournaments in Japan. The Japan Open is one of the three richest tournaments on the Japan Golf Tour, with a prize fund of ¥210 million in 2022. Between 1992 and 2021 it was the tour's designated "Flagship event" for the purposes of the Official World Golf Ranking, with a minimum winner's points allocation of 32 points. The World Cup of Golf is a men's golf tournament contested by teams of two representing their country. Only one team is allowed from each country. The players are selected on the basis of the Official World Golf Ranking, although not all of the first choice players choose to compete. Hsu Chi-san
Hsu Chi-san (born 17 January 1938) is a Taiwanese professional golfer. During his career he won many tournaments in the Asia-Pacific region, including the Philippine, Taiwan and Singapore national opens on the Asia Golf Circuit. Professional career Hsu's first notable performances were at his national open, the Taiwan Open. He won the event in 1965. He attempted to defend his championship the following year and was successful early, holding a share of the lead after the first round. However, he ultimately lost the title to countryman Lu Liang-Huan. In the mid-1960s, Hsu also started playing on the Asia Golf Circuit. He shot an opening round 68 (−4) at the 1967 Thailand Open to take a two shot. The 1981 Asia Golf Circuit was the 20th season of the Asia Golf Circuit (formerly the Far East Circuit), the main professional golf tour in Asia since it was established in 1961. Changes for 1981 In 1978, Papua New Guinea had joined the Asian Golf Confederation with the intention of adding a tournament to the circuit in 1980. The European Senior Tour, currently branded as the Legends Tour, is a professional golf tour for male golfers aged 50 and over, run by the PGA European Tour. Chen Tze-chung (; born 24 June 1958) is a Taiwanese professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour, the Japan Golf Tour, the Asian Golf Circuit, the Asian Tour and the European Tour.
