Sudhir Bhat
Sudhir Bhat'' was an Indian Marathi theatre, Marathi play producer. He was the founder member of the famous Theatre group "Suyog". Bhat is one of the few commercially successful Marathi play producers. He showcased his plays for the Marathi diaspora in the United States. He continued with this project for around three decades, during which he produced over 80 plays, which accounted for 17,000 shows. Eight of his plays crossed the 1000-show mark. He holds the record for producing the highest number of plays in a career. His company went on to stage several box-office hits. Career Bhat formed an organization named "Suyog" along with Gopal Algeri on 1 January 1985. He set an all-time record for producing the highest number of plays produced under one banner in Marathi theater. He came into the limelight with the play "Moruchi Mavshi, Moruchi Mavashi". Marathi theatre is theatre in the Marathi language, mostly originating or based in the state of Maharashtra in India, and elsewhere with Marathi diaspora. Dilip Prabhavalkar (born 4 August 1944) is an Indian Marathi actor, director, playwright and author. He has a career spanning over five decades in Hindi and Marathi theatre, television and movies. He was awarded the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Mahatma Gandhi in the 2006 Hindi film '' Lage Raho Munna Bhai''. Purushottam Laxman Deshpande (alternatively written as Pu La Deshpande; 8 November 1919 – 12 June 2000), popularly known by his initials ("Pu. La.") or as P. L. Heeralal Mohandas Gandhi (formerly Abdullah Gandhi; born Harilal Mohandas Gandhi; 23 August 1888 – 18 June 1948) was the eldest son of Mahatma Gandhi and Kasturba Gandhi. Dalit ( from meaning "broken/scattered") is a term used for untouchables and outcasts, who represented the lowest stratum of the castes in the Indian subcontinent. They are also called Harijans.
