Styrian Seeberg
Styrian Seeberg Pass (also the Aflenzer Seeberg) (el. 1253 m.) is a high mountain pass in the Austrian Alps, located in the '' Bundesland'' of Styria, east of the Hochschwab Mountains. The pass forms the most important connection between the Mürz Valley at Kapfenberg and the pilgrimage destination of Mariazell (as well as neighboring Lower Austria). At the same time, it forms the division between the watersheds of the Mur and the Enns. The Styrian Seeberg's name serves to differentiate from Seeberg Saddle on the border between Carinthia and Slovenia, which is also called the ''Carinthian Seeberg''. A drainage basin is an area of land in which all flowing surface water converges to a single point, such as a river mouth, or flows into another body of water, such as a lake or ocean. This is a list of the highest paved roads in Europe. It includes roads that are at least long and whose culminating point is at least above sea level. This height approximately corresponds to that of the highest settlements in Europe and to the tree line in several mountain ranges such as the Alps and the Pyrenees, where most of the highest roads are located. Some of the listed roads are closed to motorized vehicles, although they are normally all accessible to pedestrians and cyclists. Seeberg Saddle
Seeberg Saddle (, ), also just Seeberg (''Jezersko'') is a high mountain pass connecting Bad Eisenkappel in the Austrian state of Carinthia with Jezersko in the Slovenian region of Carinthia. It is located in the Southern Limestone Alps, between the Karawanks range in the west and the Kamnik–Savinja Alps in the east. The road across the pass is probably of Roman origin, leading from the Drava valley in the Noricum province towards the city of Aquileia. The border at the summit was implemented after the dissolution of Austria-Hungary by the 1919 Treaty of Saint-Germain. Today the Seeberg Highway (B 82) heads from the Austrian side up to the border crossing on the pass. Directly behind the Slovenian border station is an inn. The Enns () is a southern tributary of the river Danube in Austria, joining northward at the city of Enns. It forms much of the border between the states of Lower Austria and Upper Austria. Mariazell
Mariazell (; Central Bavarian: ''Mariazöö'') is an Austrian city in the southeastern state of Styria. Well known for being a hub of winter sports and a pilgrimage destination, it is located north of Graz. It is picturesquely situated in the valley of the Salza, amid the north Styrian Alps.
