''Studio Disney'' (originally ''Studio D'') is a show that aired on Disney Channel in Asia, Australia, and India. History It aired in Asia as ''Disney Buzz'' from 1999 until it changed its name to Studio Disney in July 2003, and went off the air on 25 September 2005. The Asian version aired at weekends and has a total of 230 episodes, and was aired in its studio in Singapore. The hosts also did tours throughout Singapore, Philippines, Korea, and Malaysia in 2004. In Australia it aired from Monday 4 October 1999 until 2006. The program had 4 different show blocks, in which various Disney Channel shows were aired. The program was hosted by a team of presenters who would come in between shows to entertain the audience, often through jokes and games in which viewers were encouraged to call in to participate. Disney Channel was a pan-Asian pay television kids channel owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia; part of The Walt Disney Company Asia-Pacific. It began broadcasting in Taiwan on 29 March 1995, until its main launch on January 2000, when it first broadcast in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, and the Philippines. It later expanded to most Southeast Asian countries in the months following. Disney Channel (originally called The Disney Channel from 1996 to 1997) was an Australian pay television channel. It was the flagship television property owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company in Australia. Launched in 1996, the network targeted towards children and their families, with original series and movies. The network's programming consisted of original animated and live action television series sourced from Disney Channel in the United States, including their original made-for-cable movies, as well as screenings of Disney's theatrical releases and other acquired programming. John Kassir (born October 24, 1957) is an American actor and comedian. He is known for his work as the voice of the Cryptkeeper in HBO's '' Tales from the Crypt'' franchise.
