''Studio Collection'' is a compilation album by Italian singer Mina, released on 26 November 1998 by PDU and EMI. Content The compilation album contains, in chronological order, songs recorded between 1970 and 1997. Some of them have not been released on albums before: * "Ninna nanna" was released in 1984 as the b-side of " Rose su rose", a single from the album '' Catene'' (1984). * " Città vuota (It's a Lonely Town)", in the "disco" version, was released in 1978 as a single (on the b-side it was included "Ancora ancora ancora", a song released later in the compilation ''Del mio meglio n. 7''). * "Quando mi svegliai" was released in 1975 as the b-side on the single " L'importante è finire", a track included on the album ''La Mina'' (1975). * "Lamento d'amore" was released in 1973 as a single, which also included the track "Rudy". Mina Anna Maria Mazzini (born 25 March 1940) or Mina Anna Quaini (for the Swiss civil registry), known mononymously as Mina, is an Italian-Swiss singer and actress. She was a staple of television variety shows and a dominant figure in Italian pop music from the 1960s to the mid-1970s, known for her three-octave vocal range, the agility of her soprano voice, and her image as an emancipated woman. In performance, Mina combined several modern styles with traditional Italian melodies and swing music, which made her the most versatile pop singer in Italian music. Mina dominated the country's charts for 15 years and reached an unsurpassed level of popularity. She has scored 79 albums and 71 singles on the Italian charts. Marco Luberti (born 13 February 1941) is an Italian lyricist, record producer and singer-songwriter. Life and career Born in Rome, after graduating from the liceo artistico Luberti started studying piano and performing as a keyboardist in a number of beat groups. In the late 1960s he started a fruitful collaboration with Riccardo Cocciante, first co-writing songs for other artists, and in the 1970s, when Cocciante started his solo career, serving as his lyricist and producer. Piero Cassano (born 13 September 1948) is an Italian keyboardist, singer and composer, a founding member of the Genoan band Matia Bazar. Early career and Jet Cassano started playing the piano at a young age. In 1971 he founded the progressive rock band JET with fellow musicians Aldo Stellita and Carlo Marrale. The band released an album, ''Fede, speranza, carità'' and unsuccessfully participated to the Sanremo Music Festival 1973 with the song ''Anika na-o''. "Questione di feeling" is a duet song recorded by Italian singers Mina and Riccardo Cocciante. The song was released as a single and anticipated Mina's album '' Finalmente ho conosciuto il conte Dracula...'' in which it is contained. Cocciante puts the track on his album ''Il mare dei papaveri'' (1985). It was also used as the theme song of the Mike Bongiorno's TV show ''Pentatlon''.
