Stuart Grenville Williams (9 July 1930 – 5 November 2013) was a Wales national football team, Welsh international association football, footballer who played as a defender (association football), defender. He played his club football for Wrexham A.F.C., Wrexham, West Bromwich Albion F.C., West Bromwich Albion and Southampton F.C., Southampton. Club career Wrexham Williams was born in Wrexham and attended Acton Park School before moving to Grove Park Grammar School, who he represented at football. He also played football for the Victoria Youth Club whilst working for an insurance company. Wrexham
Wrexham ( ; ) is a city status in the United Kingdom, city in the North East Wales, north-east of Wales. It lies between the Cambrian Mountains, Welsh mountains and the lower River Dee, Wales, Dee Valley, near the England–Wales border, border with Cheshire in England. Don Howe
Donald Howe (12 October 1935 – 23 December 2015) was an English football player, coach, manager and pundit. As a right back Howe featured for clubs West Bromwich Albion and Arsenal together with the England national football team in his playing career. He also went on to manage sides West Brom, Arsenal, Galatasaray, Queens Park Rangers and Coventry City. Howe was also a successful coach and has been described as one of the most influential figures of the English footballing game. Playing career Howe was born in the Springfield area of Wolverhampton in 1935 and spent his secondary education at St Peter's Collegiate School. Howe joined the West Bromwich Albion ground staff after leaving school, joining the club as a youth player in December 1950. 1958 FIFA World Cup
The 1958 FIFA World Cup was the 6th FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial football tournament for men's senior national teams. It was played in Sweden from 8 to 29 June 1958. It was the first and only FIFA World Cup to be played in a Nordic country. Brazil beat Sweden 5–2 in the final in Solna, Stockholm, to claim their first title, having beaten France in the semi-final and Wales in the quarter-final. The tournament also marked the arrival of a then 17-year-old Pelé on the world stage, who scored in all three of Brazil's knockout games. This was the first appearance of Wales at the FIFA World Cup. David James Webb (born 9 April 1946) is an English former professional footballer who made 555 appearances in the Football League playing for Leyton Orient, Southampton, Chelsea, Queens Park Rangers, Leicester City, Derby County, AFC Bournemouth and Torquay United. Kenneth Jones (26 June 1944 – 27 December 2012) was an English footballer. The grandson of Aaron Jones, Jones played for several clubs in The Football League during his career, including Bradford Park Avenue, Southampton, and Cardiff City. He played primarily as a full-back. Playing career Originally from Yorkshire, Jones began his career as a forward for the team of Monckton Colliery, where he was an apprentice electrician at the time; he later converted to a full-back and, despite interest from Arsenal, Aston Villa, and Coventry City, joined Bradford Park Avenue in September 1961 at the age of 16.
