Brigadier-General Stuart Peter Rolt (29 July 1862 – 8 May 1933) was a British Army officer who became List of Governors and Commandants of Sandhurst, Commandant of the Royal Military College, Sandhurst. He transferred to the Standing army, Regular Army when he was commissioned as a Lieutenant (British Army and Royal Marines), lieutenant into the York and Lancaster Regiment as a lieutenant on 30 January 1884, He was promoted to Captain (British Army and Royal Marines), captain on 28 April 1890, and in November 1898 was seconded for service on the staff.
