Stuart Fletcher (musician)
Stuart Michael Fletcher (born 16 January 1976 in York) is an English bass player. He is best known as the bassist in John Squire's post The Stone Roses band, The Seahorses. Prior to joining The Seahorses, Fletcher had been performing in local York bands since the age of 11. On 22 March 1996 Fletcher was spotted by Squire in the York venue Fibbers, where he was playing with local blues pub band The Blueflies. He was filling in for the band's usual bass player, who was unable to play due to repetitive strain injury. Following the gig, Fletcher was handed a cassette of demos Squire had recorded and asked to join the band. Since the demise of the band, Fletcher has continued to play with local York bands such as Hayley Hutchinson, The Yards featuring fellow ex-Seahorse Chris Helme, and Rick Witter's band, Rick Witter & The Dukes. T in the Park 2012 was a three-day music festival which took place from 6–8 July 2012 in Balado, Kinross. The Stone Roses were announced as the first headline act on 8 November 2011, appearing on Saturday 7 July 2012. Snow Patrol and Kasabian were later confirmed to also be headlining on Friday 6 July and Sunday 8 July respectively. This year marks the first time all three days of the festival will have an equal capacity, after councillors granted a request to raise Friday's capacity by 10,000. This approval brings Friday in line with the festivals 85,000 capacity previously restricted to Saturday and Sunday. Mount Kilimanjaro () is a dormant volcano in Tanzania. It has three volcanic cones: Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira. It is the highest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain above sea level in the world: above sea level and about above its plateau base. The Calling (band)
The Calling is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1996 by lead singer and guitarist Alex Band and guitarist Aaron Kamin. The current, official lineup of the band (as of 2020) consists of Band, Daniel Thomson, Travis Loafman & Joey Clement. Thomson and Loafman both joining The Calling in 2016 while Clement later joined in 2020.
