In 1994 he was drafted by North Melbourne where he played 61 games as a midfielder/half-forward, including the 1996 premiership. At the end of the 1997 he was traded to the Fremantle Dockers in return for Winston Abraham. His career declined after the move west, only managing to play 9 games in 1998 for the Dockers. After failing to be selected in the league team at the beginning of the 1999 season, Anderson left the Fremantle Football Club mid year. He was educated at Wesley College, Melbourne. Stuart Anderson (born 22 April 1986) is a Scottish footballer who is player-manager of Formartine United in the Highland Football League. Playing career Southampton Anderson started out his career a long way from his home town as he was signed by Southampton as a trainee. He played for their youth team and in 2003 was given a professional contract by the club. However, at the end of the season, he was no longer needed by the club and was allowed to leave without playing a first-team game. Stuart Paul Anderson (born 17 July 1976) is a British Conservative Party politician who has been the member of parliament (MP) for Wolverhampton South West since the 2019 general election. He has been a government whip since July 2022. Early life When he was eight his father, Samuel, died from a brain tumour that was triggered by skin cancer blamed on his time spent in the sun deployed overseas. Samuel was a corporal in the Special Air Service Regiment (22 SAS) for 12 years, going on tours to Northern Ireland, Borneo and Oman before he returned to the UK and met Stuart's mother, Leslie, who was an army nurse. His father is buried at the SAS graveyard at St Martin's Church in Hereford. Military service Anderson joined the army after leaving school at 16, and was shot in the foot by a friend during a training exercise when he was 17. Stuart Anderson (November 27, 1922 – June 6, 2016) was an American restaurateur and founder of the Black Angus Steakhouse restaurant chain, first established in Seattle in 1964. Early life Anderson was born in Tacoma, Washington, and raised in Seattle in well-to-do circumstances. His father was a successful orthopedic surgeon during the Great Depression. Anderson would joke that his difficult circumstances included having to walk all the way across the Broadmoor golf course to school. He left Seattle to join the United States Army during World War II, driving tanks in General George S. Patton's Third Army, and returned to Seattle in 1949. Career In Seattle after the war, Anderson bought a hotel, The Caledonia, in order to circumvent the state's blue laws and sell alcohol in the hotel bar which he called the Ringside Room. Stewart Anderson (7 June 1911 – 4 June 1997) was an Australian rules footballer who played with St Kilda Football Club, St Kilda and North Melbourne Football Club, North Melbourne in the Australian Football League, Victorian Football League (VFL). Stewart Anderson (born 23 July 1985) is a Scottish international bowls player and a world champion indoors. Bowls career He started bowling aged just 12 with Auchinleck Indoor Juniors and outdoor with Glaisnock Valley. Having previously been a beaten finalist in the 2010 World Championships (where he lost out to Greg Harlow) Anderson beat Paul Foster in the final match that ended 10-10, 10-9 to secure the 2013 World indoor title. In 2015 he won the triples gold medal at the Atlantic Bowls Championships. During the 2016 World Indoor Bowls Championship Anderson partnered up with Darren Burnett and the Scottish pair recorded their first Open Pairs title success. In 2018 he won the Scottish International Open. Later that season, Anderson became a two-time World Open singles champion, winning the 2019 World Indoor Bowls Championship.
