Strictly Business (professional Wrestling)
Strictly Business were a villainous professional wrestling stable in the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), last consisting of Chris Adonis, Thom Latimer and Kamille. The group was formed and led by then- NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis on the tenth episode of '' Powerrr'' on December 17, 2019, and was quickly established as NWA's top villainous faction with the addition of The Wild Cards (Royce Isaacs and Thom Latimer) and Kamille. The faction gained further credibility with the addition of major names such as Scott Steiner and Chris Adonis. The group dominated NWA until 2021 when Aldis lost his title after a three-year long reign. Shortly after the title loss, Aldis was kicked out of the group due to fending off their attack against Tim Storm, reducing the group to Adonis, Latimer and Kamille. Nick Aldis
Nicholas Harry Aldis (born 6 November 1986) is an English professional wrestler. He is signed to WWE, where he is a producer and the on-screen general manager of the SmackDown brand. He is best known for his tenure in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) under the ring name Magnus from 2008 to 2015, and the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) from 2017 to 2022. Aldis made his debut on the British independent circuit in 2004 before signing with his first major contract with TNA in 2008. During his seven-year tenure there, he won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship once, becoming the first British-born world champion in the company's history along with becoming a three-time tag team champion, winning the TNA World Tag Team Championship twice and the IWGP Tag Team Championship once. NWA World Television Championship
The NWA World Television Championship is a Championship (professional wrestling)#Television championships, world television championship owned and promoted by the United States, American professional wrestling promotion National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). The inaugural champion was Ricky Starks. On December 14, 2019, the NWA announced they were reintroducing the NWA World Television Championship with a tournament to determine a new champion. Although past Television champions from both the NWA National Television Championship, Georgia and WCW World Television Championship, Mid-Atlantic versions have been referred to on NWA programming, the original titles and respective lineage are currently owned by WWE. Nathan Troy Blauvelt (born March 17, 1987), better known by his ring name Brody King, is an American professional wrestler, singer, and actor. He is signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is a member of the Hounds of Hell and is a former one-time AEW World Trios Champion. Crockett Cup (2020)
The Fifth Annual Jim Crockett Sr. Memorial Cup Tag Team Tournament, also known as the Crockett Cup, was a scheduled professional wrestling tag team tournament that was to be produced by the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). The event was scheduled to take place on April 19, 2020, at the Gateway Center Arena in College Park, Georgia, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic before ultimately being canceled. In addition to the tournament, the event was booked to have NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis defend the championship against Ring of Honor (ROH) representative Marty Scurll, with the latter agreeing to pay Aldis $500,000 if he lost the match. Ring Of Honor
Ring of Honor (ROH) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Jacksonville, Florida. The promotion was founded by Rob Feinstein on February 23, 2002, and was operated by Cary Silkin from 2004 until 2011; the promotion was subsequently sold to the Sinclair Broadcast Group, and then sold to Tony Khan. Marty Scurll
Martin Scurll (born 26 July 1988) is an English professional wrestler. He is known for his work in Ring of Honor (ROH). Scurll began his career in 2005, working on the British independent circuit. In 2012, he competed on the TNA's show TNA Wrestling: British Boot Camp, where some British wrestlers competed for a tryout with TNA. While working with PROGRESS Wrestling, where he won the World Championship twice, he chanaged his gimmick to The Villain. James Allen Cox (born June 1, 1977) is an American professional wrestler better known by the ring name James Storm. He currently competes on the independent circuit. The NWA World Tag Team Championship is a professional wrestling World Tag Team Championship, world tag team championship created by the National Wrestling Alliance. From 1948 to 1982, the NWA allowed List of National Wrestling Alliance territories, member promotions to create their own territorial version of the "NWA World Tag Team Championship" without oversight from the board of directors.
