Streik!
''Streik!'' is a Norwegian docudrama from 1975, directed by Oddvar Bull Tuhus. The film is loosely based on Tor Obrestad's novel ''Sauda! Strike!'', which is about the Sauda strike in 1970. It was the result of a collaboration between Marcusfilm and NRK's Television Theater. The film shows the event from the workers' point of view. It was staged in cinemas first, and then shown on NRK. Kolbjørn Brenda
Kolbjørn Brenda (March 9, 1914 – January 15, 1988) was a Norwegian actor. Brenda debuted in 1936 at the Søilen Theater in Oslo and was engaged there until 1939. He performed for eight years at the Falkberget Theater and two years at the Rogaland Theater, and from 1951 onward his artistic versatility made him a central figure in the ensemble at the National Traveling Theater. Among others roles, he played Jeppe in ''Erasmus Montanus'', seven roles in ''Peer Gynt'' in the same performance, and Dr. Onsø in Nils Kjær's ''Det lykkelige valg'' (The Happy Election). Brenda's parting role was the carpenter Engstrand in '' Ghosts''. In the 1930s he was active in Norwegian film, especially in Olav Dalgard's films. Tor Obrestad
Tor Obrestad (12 February 1938 – 25 January 2020) was a Norwegian novelist, poet and documentary writer. Early and personal life Obrestad was born in Hå Hå is a municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is the southernmost municipality in the traditional district of Jæren. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Varhaug. Other villages in Hå include Brusand, Hæen, ... on 12 February 1938. His parents were farmer Jon R. Obrestad and Sophie Riise. Oddvar Bull Tuhus (born 14 December 1940) is a Norwegian film director, script writer and television worker. His film debut was ''Rødblått paradis'' from 1971. His ''Maria Marusjka'' from 1973 was awarded the Norwegian Film Critics' Prize. His film ''Streik!'' from 1974, based on a novel by Tor Obrestad, was presented at the Cannes Film Festival. Marit Halset
Marit Halset (May 18, 1912 – March 22, 1986) was a Norwegian actress. She performed roles in theater, radio theater, and film. Halset was engaged with the National Theater in Oslo from 1933 to 1948. She debuted as the young girl Hazel Niles in Eugene O'Neill's play ''Mourning Becomes Electra'' in the spring of 1933. There she performed together with Johanne Dybwad, August Oddvar, and Ingolf Schanche. Later, she performed significant roles as sensitive young girls, and she ended her time at the National Theater by playing Leonora in Ludvig Holberg's ''The Fidget'' in 1948. In 1948 she moved to the New Theater, where she remained until 1967. Halset also performed regularly in NRK's Radio Theater and Television Theater, in addition to having a number of film roles. Erik Øksnes
Erik Øksnes (November 14, 1930 – June 15, 1998) was a Norwegian actor whose main work was on the stage. Øksnes made his stage debut in 1954 as Amos in Arthur Miller's ''The Man Who Had All the Luck'' (Norwegian title: ''Mannen som hadde lykken med seg'') at the National Traveling Theater. He was later employed at the Rogaland Theater from 1963 to 1966, the Trøndelag Theater from 1966 to 1969, and the Norwegian Theater from 1969 onward. Sauda ''()'' is a municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Sauda, where most of the population lives. Kjell Stormoen
Kjell Stormoen (24 March 1921 – 22 October 2010) was a Norwegian actor, scenographer and theatre director. He was born in Bergen as a son of Trygve H. Stormoen (1896–1971) and Hjørdis Henriksen (1897–1975). He was a first cousin of Guri Stormoen, and also related to Harald and Hans Stormoen. He was married twice, the first time to actor Elna Kimmestad from 1945 to 1972. He was educated as an engraver, but also participated in the dramatic society Bergens Dramatiske Klubb. Lasse Glomm
Lasse Glomm (September 5, 1944 – October 11, 1996) was a Norwegian film director and screenwriter. He directed eight feature films and wrote the screenplays for seven films.
