''Streets Is Watching'' is the soundtrack album to Abdul Malik Abbott's 1998 Streets Is Watching (film), film of the same name. It was released on May 12, 1998, via Roc-A-Fella Records/Def Jam Recordings. Production was handled by Mahogany, Jaz-O, AK47, Darrel 'Digga' Branch, Dave G, Dinky Bingham, DJ Clue, DJ Clue?, Irv Gotti, Ken Duro Ifill, Ken "Duro" Ifill, M.O.P., Tone Capone, Ty Fyffe, and Damon Dash, Dame Dash, who also served as one of executive producers together with Jay-Z and Kareem Burke, Kareem "Biggs" Burke. "It's Alright" is the only single by Memphis Bleek and Jay-Z that was released from the '' Streets Is Watching'' soundtrack for the film of the same name. It was later featured as a bonus track on Jay-Z's third album, '' Vol. 2... Hard Knock Life''. It is produced by Damon Dash and Mahogany Music, who sample " Once in a Lifetime" by Talking Heads and "The Hall of Mirrors" by Kraftwerk for the track's beat. Chris Frantz
Charton Christopher Frantz (born May 8, 1951) is an American musician and record producer. He is the drummer for both Talking Heads and Tom Tom Club, both of which he co-founded with wife and Talking Heads bassist, Tina Weymouth. In 2002, Frantz was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Talking Heads. Career Born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Frantz graduated from Shady Side Academy in Pittsburgh. He studied in the early 1970s at the Rhode Island School of Design, where he met both David Byrne and Tina Weymouth. Byrne and Frantz formed a band called the Artistics, which went on to become Talking Heads, in 1973. Weymouth, then Frantz's girlfriend, joined the band in 1975 after they had moved to New York City. Gerrell Gaddis (born July 22, 1976), better known by his stage name Rell, is an American R&B singer and songwriter from Bowman, South Carolina. He was the first male R&B singer to sign to New York City-based label Roc-A-Fella Records, where he recorded with artists such as Kanye West, Jay-Z, Consequence, and Young Gunz.
