''Street Corner Queen'' (LRCD-003, ML002) is the first studio album by the Finnish Christian death metal band Deuteronomium, recorded in Studio Watercastle, Jyväskylä and published by Little Rose Productions on May 20, 1998. A ground breaking release in its time, ''Street Corner Queen'' is notable for being probably the best known Christian metal album to come from Finland, and one of the most diverse albums in the whole Christian metal history. Deuteronomium releases ''Tribal Eagle'' EP and ''Street Corner Queen'' are listed under the years 1997 and 1998. Recording history and overview At this point of Deuteronomium's career, Johnny Pesonen and Jari Mantour were replaced by Kalle Paju (guitar) and Janne-Jussi Kontoniemi (drums). Deuteronomium is a Christian death metal band formed in 1993, Jyväskylä, Finland, one of Finland's earliest and most influential groups in that genre.Ruisku, Riqu. "Suomi metal -spesiaali". Bass Guitar
The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. It is a plucked string instrument similar in appearance and construction to an electric or an acoustic guitar, but with a longer neck and scale length, and typically four to six strings or courses. One Bad Pig
One Bad Pig is a Christian punk and metal crossover band from Austin, Texas, which formed in 1985. The ''Encyclopedia of Contemporary Christian Music'' describes them as "quite possibly the most popular hard-punk act ever to arise within the Christian music scene." They were known for their mischief and irreverence on stage, as reflected even in their reunion at Cornerstone in 2000. Background The group evolved out of a street ministry led by Carey Womack, who was studying to become a Baptist minister at the time. Several other members also had a background in ministry: Brian Wheeler was an Assembly of God evangelist, and Paul Q-Pek had sung with The Continental Singers. Bonsai ( ja, 盆栽, , tray planting, ) is the Japanese art of growing and training miniature trees in pots, developed from the traditional Chinese art form of ''penjing''. Unlike ''penjing'', which utilizes traditional techniques to produce entirely natural scenery in small pots that mimic the grandiose shapes of real life scenery, the Japanese "bonsai" only attempts to produce small trees that mimic the shape of real life trees.
