Streaplers
Streaplers is a Swedish musical group, founded 1959 in Kungälv as a pop group and later developed into a dansband. Original members were Gert Lengstrand (vocals), Bjarne Lundquist, Göran Liljeblad, Håkan Liljeblad och Lars Larsson. The group made a breakthrough with ''Säkkinjärven Polka'' in 1963. Hit songs such as ''Diggety Doggety'', " Mule Skinner Blues" and ''Rockin' Robin'' followed. Singer Gert Lengstrand left the group in 1966, and was replaced by Curt Borkman. Since then the band began development towards playing dansband music. Robert Löfvendahl became the new singer in 1969. The same year, the band had a Svensktoppen number one hit with "Tusen öars land". In 1970, Ove Pilebo began as singer and Streaplers became one of Sweden's most popular dansbands, with 225 concerts. Till Min Kära
"Till min kära" is a song written in 1993 by Peter Grundström of Thor Görans, recorded by Thor Görans, and released as a single in 1994. The recording was never tested for Svensktoppen. A Streaplers recording stayed at Svensktoppen for 73 weeks beginning 16 September 1995 until 15 February 1997, which at the time was a new record. The song is also on the 1995 Streaplers album " Till min kära." The song was appointed "Svensktoppen song of the year" in 1996. During 1996 the song stayed at the Svensktoppen first place for 22 weeks. Va' har du under blusen, Rut? is a song written by Lennart Witoslaw (born 1950), and originally recorded by him releasing it as 1973 single with ''Porriga Billy'' acting as B-side. The song was also recorded by Schytts, releasing it as a 1974 single with '' En annan stad, en annan vän'' ("Another Town, Another Train") acting as B-side. and in 1974 it was also recorded by Stefan Rüdén, Tre blå, Winners and Zenits. In 1974, the song was also recorded by the Streaplers, releasing it as a single and their version also charted at Svensktoppen for six weeks between 17 March-21 April 1974, peaking at fifth position. In 1975, the song was recorded by the musician Nils Dacke on the album '' Nils Dacke spelar partyorgel''. It was also recorded in 1975 by Lasse Green. ''Svensktoppen'' () is a weekly record chart airing on Sveriges Radio. Until January 2003, the songs had to be in the Swedish language. Svensktoppen has aired since 1962, except for the years 1982–1985. In the years leading up to the January 2003 change, the programme was strongly dominated by dansband music. The first number one hit song was "Midnattstango" performed by Swedish crooner Lars Lönndahl. New rules on 17 January 2016 restricted the maximum length for a song to chart to one year. "I Have a Dream" is a song by Swedish pop group ABBA. It was released in December 1979 as the fourth international and final single from the group's sixth studio album, '' Voulez-Vous''. Anni-Frid Lyngstad sang lead vocals. It was a major hit, topping the charts in many countries and peaking at No. 2 in the UK over the Christmas week of 1979. Sverigetopplistan (, lit. "the Sweden top list") is the Swedish national record chart, based on sales data from IFPI Sverige. It was formerly known as Topplistan (1975–1997) and Hitlistan (1998–2007) and has been known by its current name since October 2007. Before Topplistan, music sales in Sweden were recorded by Kvällstoppen, whose weekly chart was a combined albums and singles list.
