Storstyggesvånåtinden is a mountain in Lesja Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The tall mountain lies within Dovrefjell-Sunndalsfjella National Park, about north of the village of Dombås in the Svånåtindene mountains. The mountain is surrounded by several other mountains including Nordre Svånåtinden which is about to the north, Snøhetta which is about to the northeast, Skredahøin which is to the south, and Mjogsjøhøi and Mjogsjøoksli which are about to the southwest. Svånåtindene
Svånåtindene is a small mountain range in Lesja Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The mountains are part of the larger Dovrefjell mountains inside the borders of the Dovrefjell-Sunndalsfjella National Park. These mountains are part of the same massif which contains several notable peaks including the tall Storstyggesvånåtinden, the tall Nordre Svånåtinden, and the tall mountain Bruri. The area is located about north of the village of Dombås. There are 291 peaks in Norway with elevations of over above sea level and that have a topographic prominence of more than 10 meters. The following list includes those 186 that have a topographic prominence of 50 meters or more. The topographic isolation refers to the shortest ''horizontal'' distance one would have to travel to find a higher summit. Location of peaks Most of these peaks are in the municipalities of Lom, Skjåk, Luster, and Vågå, connected to the mountain chain that reaches its prominence with Jotunheimen. Snøhetta is the highest mountain in the Dovrefjell mountain range in Norway. At , it is the highest mountain in Norway outside the Jotunheimen range, making it the 24th highest peak in Norway, based on a topographic prominence cutoff. At , its topographic prominence is the third highest in Norway. The mountain is located in the Dovrefjell mountains in northern Innlandet county in Dovre Municipality. The mountain lies inside Dovrefjell-Sunndalsfjella National Park and it is the highest peak in the park. Skredahøin
Skredahøin (also referred to as Skredho and Skredhøis) is a mountain in Lesja Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The tall mountain lies within Dovrefjell-Sunndalsfjella National Park, about north of the village of Dombås. The mountain is surrounded by several other mountains including Storstyggesvånåtinden which is about to the north, Snøhetta which is about to the northeast, Einøvlingseggen which is about to the southeast, Mjogsjøoksli which is about to the southwest, and Mjogsjøhøi which is about to the west. Skredahøin lies in an active seismic region and hence experiences frequent earthquakes, including one on 24 March 2012 with a magnitude of 3.2 on the Ritcher Scale and its centre was away for the mountain.
