''Stormy Weathers'' is a 1992 American action adventure television film directed by Will Mackenzie and starring Cybill Shepherd. The film premiered on May 4, 1992 on ABC. Plot An Italian aristocrat hires detective Samantha Weathers (Cybill Shepherd) to uncover the details of an old inheritance issue. The more she looks, the more complicated the case becomes. Her investigation into the disappearance of the aristocrat’s older brother reveals an underhand plot involving drug smuggling, radical politics, murder and corruption in high places. Will Mackenzie (born July 24, 1938) is an American television director and actor. Life Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Mackenzie began his professional career as an actor, making his Broadway theatre, Broadway debut in 1965 in the original production of the musical ''Half a Sixpence''. During the original run of ''Hello, Dolly! (musical), Hello, Dolly!'', he stepped into the role of Cornelius Hackl created by Charles Nelson Reilly, and he also appeared in the plays ''Sheep on the Runway'' by Art Buchwald and ''Scratch'' by Archibald MacLeish and a revival of ''Much Ado About Nothing''. Lilyan Chauvin (; ; 6 August 192526 June 2008) was a French-American actress, television host, director, writer, and acting teacher. Ethyl Spraggins Ayler (May 1, 1930 – November 18, 2018) was an American character actress with a career spanning over five decades. Marilyn Iris Kuzyk (born February 21, 1952) is a Canadian actress. Early life Kuzyk was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Fred and Kay Kuzyk, both of whom were Ukrainian immigrants, and received her early education at the Immaculate Heart of Mary School.
