Stormvarning
''Stormvarning'' (''Gale Warning'') is the sixth studio album from Swedish singer/songwriter Ted Gärdestad, released on the Polar Music label in Sweden in early 1981. ''Stormvarning'' was an expanded and partly re-recorded version of the international album '' I'd Rather Write a Symphony'', released in West Germany and the Netherlands in 1980. The album includes a solo version of the 1980 Melodifestivalen entry "Låt Solen Värma Dig", originally a duet with Rock De Luxe vocalist Annica Boller, Gärdestad's girlfriend at the time. The duet version remains unreleased on CD. The ''Stormvarning'' album also features the track that was to be Gärdestad's final hit single of the eighties, "Låt Kärleken Slå Rot", produced by Benny Andersson and featuring Anni-Frid Lyngstad on vocals. Ted Gärdestad
Ted Arnbjörn Gärdestad (; 18 February 195622 June 1997) was a Swedish singer, songwriter, musician and actor known internationally as Ted. Gärdestad began his acting career in 1966 and began playing music in 1971, signing with Polar Music. Assigned with in-house producers Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, Gärdestad released his first single, "Hela världen runt," in late 1971 and worked closely with the four members of ABBA to create his debut album ''Undringar'' (1972). As Polar Music's best-selling solo artist (aside from ABBA), he continued to work with the group members throughout the 1970s, releasing three more albums ''Ted (album), Ted'' (1973), ''Upptåg'' (1974) and ''Franska Kort'' (1976), which were moderately successful. ''I'd Rather Write A Symphony'' is the sixth studio album and the second international release from Swedish singer/songwriter Ted Gärdestad. It was released in 1980 through the Polydor label in West Germany and The Netherlands, promoted by the single "Don't Treat Me This Way" backed with "Mindblower". An expanded and partly re-recorded version of the album was released as ''Stormvarning'' on the Polar Music label in Sweden the following year, the track "Love Light" is however only available on the international edition. Two unreleased songs from the album sessions, the title track and "Nobody Loves You Now" saw their debut twenty years later as part of the 2001 4 CD boxed set ''Solregn''. ''I'd Rather Write A Symphony'' in its entirety remains unreleased on CD. However, all tracks are included in the 2009 8-CD box set ''Helt Nära Dig - Samlade Album''. Tomas Ledin
Tomas Folke Jonas Ledin (; born 25 February 1952) is a Swedish singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer. He grew up in the town of Sandviken, Sweden and has sold 3 million records. Career Tomas Ledin started his career in 1972 when his first single, "Då ska jag spela", was a big hit. Other successful songs followed: "Blå, blå känslor" (1973), (covered by Björn Skifs), "Knivhuggarrock" (1975), "Festen har börjat" (1976), and "I natt är jag din" (1977). Bass Guitar
The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. It is a plucked string instrument similar in appearance and construction to an electric or an acoustic guitar, but with a longer neck and scale length, and typically four to six strings or courses.
