Storm (1999 Film)
''Storm'' is a 1999 American science fiction thriller film directed by Harris Done and starring Luke Perry and Martin Sheen. The story and screenplay were written by Done. The story talks about the secret weather control experiment which goes awry. Plot The film begins on August 23, 1992 with the top-secret weather experiment led by Air Force General James Roberts off the coast of Florida. The team uses a specially modified cargo plane to launch a special generator into the developing storm to enhance its power. As the plane is destroyed by a lightning strike, the control of the experiment is lost and within a few hours the storm develops into the hurricane Andrew which devastates Miami. The details about the experiments are buried after the disaster. The story then moves to 1999 where Dr. Ron Young and his assistant Dr. Brian Newmeyer perform the experiment designed to steer the path of the storm with the generator towed by a small airplane. A storm is any disturbed state of the natural environment or the atmosphere of an astronomical body. William Glenn Shadix (April 15, 1952 – September 7, 2010) was an American actor and comedian. He was known for his role as Otho in Tim Burton's horror comedy film '' Beetlejuice'' and as the voice of the Mayor of Halloween Town in ''The Nightmare Before Christmas''. Early life Shadix was born on April 15, 1952 in Bessemer, Alabama, the eldest child in the family. His surname was legally changed to "Scott" when his mother, Annie Ruth (née Livingston), remarried a few years after his birth, although he would use his original surname when working as an actor. Renée Pilar Estevez (born April 2, 1967) is an American former actress and screenwriter. Early years Estevez was born in New York City, the youngest child and only daughter of artist Janet (née Templeton) and actor Martin Sheen (legally Ramón Estévez).
