Storefriendly Self Storage is an Asia-Pacific-based company operating over 130 branches in Asia with a total of 40,000+ self storage units around Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Singapore and Shanghai. History Storefriendly was started by Kevin Chan in 2002 with its fully self-owned storage facility, "Storefriendly Centre", in Singapore. Johansen and Chan started the Singapore expansion in 2011 with the first branch in Bukit Batok. SingPost acquired the company in 2015. Storefriendly subsequently relaunched in 2019 with its flagship branch in Paya Lebar. Bukit Batok ( ), often abbreviated as Bt Batok, is a planning area and matured residential town located along the eastern boundary of the West Region of Singapore. Bukit Batok statistically ranks in as the 25th largest, the 10th most populous and the 9th most densely populated planning area in Singapore.
