Stonebridge is a golf course community in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The community borders the Jock River to the north, Prince of Wales Drive to the east, Barnsdale Road to the south, and Greenbank Road to the west. Main through-roads include Jockvale and Greenbank. The Stonebridge Golf Club, an 18-hole course, snakes through the community, and borders Jockvale Road. The Stonebridge Community Association manages community events including summer and winter sports for kids. Stonebridge has several parks, many including splash pads and fields. A city-run community centre, the Minto Recreation Complex, includes a gymnasium, a weight and exercise room, two pools, two skating rinks, a walking track, and several multi-use rooms. Jock River
The Jock River, known locally as the Mighty Jock, is a river in Ottawa and Lanark County in Eastern Ontario, Canada. Shows the course of the river highlighted on a topographic map. Prince Of Wales Drive
Prince of Wales Drive (Ottawa Road #73) is a road serving Ottawa, Ontario. The northern section is a low-speed street running along the west bank of the Rideau River, while southern portions of the road were formerly Highway 16 (downgraded after the construction of Highway 416). Prince of Wales Drive is the continuation of Queen Elizabeth Driveway beyond Preston Street. It runs around Dow's Lake and through the Central Experimental Farm before reaching a roundabout.
