Stomp (dance Troupe)
Stomp (stylized as ''STOMP'') is a percussion group, originating in Brighton, England, that uses the body and ordinary objects to create a physical theatre performance using rhythms, acrobatics and pantomime. History and performances 1990–98 Stomp was created by Steve McNicholas and Luke Cresswell in 1991. The performers use a variety of everyday objects as percussion instruments in their shows. Cresswell and McNicholas first worked together in 1981 as members of the street band The_Yes/No_People#Pookiesnackenburger, Pookiesnackenburger and the theatre group Cliff Hanger. Together, these groups presented a series of street comedy musicals at the Edinburgh Festival throughout the early 1980s. After two albums, a TV series and extensive touring in Europe, Pookiesnackenburger also produced the "Bins" commercial for Heineken lager. Ambassadors Theatre (London)
The Ambassadors Theatre (known as the New Ambassadors Theatre from 1999 to 2007) is a West End theatre located on West Street, London, West Street, next to St Martin's Theatre and opposite The Ivy (United Kingdom), The Ivy, in the City of Westminster. Opened in 1913, it is one of the smallest of West End theatres, seating just over four hundred people. The Laurence Olivier Awards, or simply The Olivier Awards, are presented annually by the Society of London Theatre to recognize excellence in professional theatre in London. Space Ghost is a superhero created by Hanna-Barbera Productions in the 1960s for TV network CBS. He was designed by Alex Toth. In his original incarnation, he was a superhero who, with his teen sidekicks, Jan and Jace, and Blip the monkey, fought supervillains in outer space. Brighton Festival is a large, annual, curated multi-arts festival in England, first held in 1967.
