Stolojan Cabinet
The Stolojan Cabinet was the Cabinet of the Government of Romania between 16 October 1991 and 19 November 1992. It was the fourth post-communist cabinet. The Prime Minister was Theodor Stolojan, a former financial bureaucrat during communism (previously responsible with the foreign currency as well as the money of the Securitate, according to former Romanian President Emil Constantinescu). Stolojan was an independent minister of finance in the Roman cabinet, dominated by the FSN. The Stolojan Cabinet was a transition cabinet, in charge with organizing the elections, and included FSN members and members from other parties national liberals, ecologists, agrarians, and independents. Theodor Stolojan
Theodor Dumitru Stolojan (; born 24 October 1943) is a Romanian politician who was Prime Minister of Romania from September 1991 to November 1992. An economist by training, he was also one of the presidents of the National Liberal Party (PNL) before being the founding leader of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLD) and then the Democratic Liberal Party (PDL). He was a Member of the European Parliament for Romania, representing the Democratic Liberal Party (PDL) and then the National Liberal Party (PNL; both EPP-ED-affiliated). He was also professor at the Transilvania University of Brașov between 2002 and 2012. Career Before the Romanian Revolution, Stolojan worked at the Committee for State Planning, together with Nicolae Văcăroiu, who subsequently became President of the Senate between 20 December 2000 and 14 October 2008. Niculae Spiroiu
Niculae Spiroiu (6 July 1936 – 31 March 2022) was a Romanian engineer and retired Romanian Armed Forces general. He served as the Minister of National Defense from 30 April 1991 to 6 March 1994. Spiroiu was born in Bucharest, the son of Constantin Spiroiu, originally from Glodu, a village in Argeș County. From 1947 to 1954, he attended the Mihai Viteazul High School in his native city, after which he enrolled in the Officers School in Pitești, graduating with the rank of lieutenant in 1960. He died in Bucharest on 31 March 2022, at the age of 85, and was buried in the city's Ghencea Cemetery Ghencea Cemetery is located in Ghencea neighbourhood of Bucharest, on Ghencea Boulevard, in Sector 6. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Romania () is one of the eighteen ministries of the Government of Romania. From 23 August 1944 to 18 March 1975 the ministry held the title of ''Minister of Internal Affairs'', between 2004 and 2007, held the title of ''Minister of Administration and Interior'', and since April 2007, ''Minister of Interior and Administrative Reform''. In December 2008, the Boc government changed the name back to ''Ministry of Administration and Interior''. Victor Babiuc
Victor Babiuc (; 3 April 1938 – 25 February 2023) was a Romanian jurist and politician. A former member of the Democratic Party (PD), and of the National Liberal Party (PNL), he was a member of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies for Bucharest in 1990 and from 1992 to 1996, and for Brașov County from 1996 to 2004. In the Petre Roman cabinet, he was Minister of Justice from 1990 to 1991. In the Theodor Stolojan cabinet, he was Minister of the Interior from 1991 to 1992.
