Stock Transportation
National Passenger Services, d/b/a Stock Transportation, is a Canadian school bus operator based in Markham, Ontario. The company provides student transportation and charter services for twenty-eight school districts in Ontario, Nova Scotia and Alberta. Stock Transportation was founded in 1958 by Jeff and Jerry Stock. In July 2002, Stock Transportation was acquired by National Express, now known as Mobico Group. That year a number of acquisitions were made such as the purchase of Deluxe Coach Lines and Alouette Bus Lines of North Bay. In August 2024, Mobico announced it had formally began the sale process for its North American bus division, which includes Stock Transportation. Kitchener is a city in the Canadian province of Ontario, about west of Toronto. It is one of three cities that make up the Regional Municipality of Waterloo and is the regional Administrative centre, seat. The Ford E-Series (also known as the Ford Econoline, Ford Econovan or Ford Club Wagon) is a range of full-size vans manufactured and marketed by the Ford Motor Company. Introduced for 1961 as the replacement of the Ford F-Series panel van, four generations of the model line have been produced. Corbeil is a defunct trade name that has been used in bus manufacturing. From 1936 to 1975, J.H. Corbeil was a manufacturer of bus bodies; Les Enterprises Michel Corbeil was a body manufacturer that specialized primarily in school buses, opened from 1985 to 2007. In 2007, the company was acquired out of bankruptcy by Collins Industries and renamed Corbeil Bus Corporation. Serving as the Canadian equivalent of Collins Bus Corporation, manufacturing was shifted from Quebec to Hutchinson, Kansas. Prior to its 2007 shift to Kansas, Corbeil manufacturing was located in Saint-Lin–Laurentides, Quebec, Canada. York Region Transit (YRT) is the public transit operator in York Region, Ontario, Canada. Its headquarters are in Richmond Hill, at 50 High Tech Road. YRT operates 65 full-time rush hour and limited routes, 35 school services, and six Viva bus rapid transit routes. Five contracted Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) bus routes run within York Region's boundaries (one in Vaughan and four in Markham). Some YRT routes operate within the City of Toronto; these buses generally run to and from TTC subway stations.
