Stimulator (band)
Stimulator is an alternative rock band based in Los Angeles, California. It was founded in 2002 by singer/songwriter Susan Hyatt (formerly of Pillbox) and guitarist Geoff Tyson (formerly of T-Ride and Snake River Conspiracy). The band's songs have been featured in the Miramax film ''Ella Enchanted'', MTV's '' The Real World'' and episodes of the E! Network's ''50 Hottest Hollywood Hookups''. Stimulator has toured the United States supporting Duran Duran, The Go-Go's, and were featured performers on the Van's Warped Tour. From 2010 to 2011, the band's cover of Olivia Newton-John's "Magic" was featured in Macy's nationwide television and radio "Find Your Magic" commercials. Viper Room
The Viper Room is a nightclub and live music venue located on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California, United States. It was established under that name on August 14, 1993, co-owned by actors and ''21 Jump Street'' co-stars Johnny Depp and Sal Jenco. The Viper Room has undergone several changes in ownership. The latest owner is Viper Holdings, Ltd CEO James Cooper. It continues to host music of multiple genres, including metal, punk, and alternative rock. While predominantly known as a music venue, the Viper Room also has a lower level which is home to a large whiskey bar. The Go-Go's
The Go-Go's are an American all-female Rock music, rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1978. Except for short periods when other musicians joined briefly, the band has had a relatively stable lineup consisting of Charlotte Caffey on lead guitar and keyboard instrument, keyboards, Belinda Carlisle on lead vocals, Gina Schock on drums, Kathy Valentine on bass guitar, bass, and Jane Wiedlin on rhythm guitar. Missing Persons (band)
Missing Persons is an American Rock music, rock band founded in 1980 in Los Angeles by guitarist Warren Cuccurullo, vocalist Dale Bozzio (née Consalvi), and drummer Terry Bozzio. They later added bassist Patrick O'Hearn and keyboardist Chuck Wild. Dale's quirky voice and heavy makeup made the band a favorite on MTV in the early 1980s. Dale and Terry Bozzio met while working with Frank Zappa, and they married in 1979. Cuccurullo encountered the pair while contributing to the Zappa album ''Joe's Garage'' (1979). Kevin Lyman is an American event manager who is the founder and operator of the Kevin Lyman Group, formerly known as 4Fini, Inc., a live event production company. His most notable live production is the live music festival series Vans Warped Tour, which attracted about 750,000 people annually and was the longest-running North American festival concert tour. In the fall semester of 2018, Lyman started teaching at USC Thornton School of Music as an associate professor. John Taylor (bass Guitarist)
Nigel John Taylor (born 20 June 1960) is a British musician who is best known as the bass guitarist for new wave band Duran Duran, of which he was a founding member. Duran Duran was one of the most popular bands in the world during the 1980s due in part to their music videos which played in heavy rotation in the early days of MTV. Taylor played with Duran Duran from its founding in 1978 until 1997, when he left to pursue a solo recording and film career. He recorded a dozen solo releases (albums, EPs, and video projects) through his private record label B5 Records over the next four years, had a lead role in the movie '' Sugar Town'', and made appearances in a half dozen other film projects. New Wave Music
New wave is a music genre that encompasses pop music, pop-oriented styles from the 1970s through the 1980s. It is considered a lighter and more melodic "broadening of Punk subculture, punk culture". Gilby Clarke
Gilbert J. Clarke (born August 17, 1962) is an American guitarist, singer, songwriter and record producer. He is known for having a three-year tenure as the rhythm guitarist of Guns N' Roses, replacing Izzy Stradlin in 1991 during the Use Your Illusion Tour, and also featured on ''"The Spaghetti Incident?"'' (1993).
