Still Woozy is the solo project of Sven Eric Gamsky (born June 23, 1992), an American singer and songwriter from Moraga, California. Gamsky grew up in Moraga, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area. He began recording his own music at the age of 13. NME has described his style as "psychedelic bedroom-pop", while '' IQ'' sees it as "genre-bending". Early life Sven Gamsky was born on June 23, 1992, in Oakland, California, and grew up in Moraga, California. He is the youngest of three sons born to Dr. Tom and Berit (Fuglsang) Gamsky, and has two older brothers, Nate and Sam. Sven started playing the guitar when he was in middle school. All of the Gamsky brothers became Eagle Scouts. Woozy (band)
Woozy was an American experimental rock band from New Orleans. Career Woozy was formed in 2012. In 2013, the band released a split album with the dreamgaze band Dogtooth titled ''Somebody Else's Problem''. In September 2014, Woozy appeared on a split with Ex-Breathers, Ovlov and Gnarwhal. In October 2015, Woozy released their first full-length album titled ''Blistered''.- - In June 2016, allegations of sexual assault against Woozy member John St. Cyr were made public by Katryn Macko of the Florida band Naps. Legwurk
Tani Kahn, known professionally as Legwurk, is a Canadian singer, guitarist, bassist, key player, producer, and songwriter living in Brooklyn, NY. She has been playing guitar, bass, and keys in Still Woozy's band on their recent tours. Her music has been categorized as indie pop, synth-pop, dance-pop, bedroom pop, and chillwave. Legwurk began releasing solo music in 2020, but she has been writing songs since she was 12. She is an openly queer woman. Career Kahn began playing music and writing music when she was young, teaching herself guitar. She also studied music at University of California, Santa Cruz where she met Still Woozy.
