Stewardess (film)
''Stewardess'' () is a 1967 Soviet black-and-white short romance film. The plot is centered on a stewardess Olga servicing a domestic flight. The story reveals that she is in love with a geologist and became a stewardess to have an opportunity to meet him occasionally on a remote Siberian airfield. The film won two special jury awards at the Golden Prague International Television Festival in 1968 and 1969. Vladimir Krasnopolsky
Vladimir Arkadyevich Krasnopolsky (; 14 June 1933 – 23 September 2022) was a Russian film director, producer, and screenwriter. Biography Krasnopolsky was born in Sverdlovsk on 14 June 1933 to artist Arkady Vladimirovich Krasnopolsky. In 1955, he graduated from the Faculty of History and Philology at Ural State University and from Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography in 1963. From 1961 to 1963, he was director of the Sverdlovsk Film Studio. In 1964, he became director of Mosfilm. In 1971, he joined the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. From 1963 to 2015, he directed and wrote all of his films alongside his second cousin, . They went their separate ways in 2016. Krasnopolsky died in Moscow on 23 September 2022, at the age of 89. Yevgeny Aleksandrovich Yevstigneyev (; 9 October 1926 — 4 March 1992) was a prominent Soviet and Russian stage and film actor, theatre pedagogue, one of the founders of the Moscow Sovremennik Theatre. He was named People's Artist of the USSR in 1983 and awarded the USSR State Prize in 1974.
