Stevnsgade Basketball
Stevnsgade Basketball (also known as Stevnsgade, Stevnsgade Supermen, Supermen and SBBK) is a Danish basketball team located in Nørrebro, Copenhagen. Stevnsgade is one of the most winningest teams in Danish men's basketball history, having won 3 national titles (1979, 1980 and 1995) and 4 domestic cups (1980, 1987, 1993 and 1994). The Stevnsgade women's team has won the Danish Cup 6 times. History 1958–73: The early years The club was founded at the local school ( Stevnsgade Skole) by teachers and students 5 May 1958. Outright it was decided that the club colors should be white and blue. The first official game was against SISU, the reigning Danish Champions, on October 29, 1961 in a Serie 1 game, the second tier 2 in the Danish basketball pyramid, where SISU participated due to lack of teams in the divisions. The Basketligaen ( en, The Basketball League) is the highest professional basketball league in Denmark. The original men's first division was founded in 1957 and the current league was founded in 1998. All-time record holder in league titles is Bakken Bears, which has captured 18 titles in its history. BMS is the only team with 5 titles in a row, starting in 1986 through 1990. The main TV partner of the league is Sport Live. The league consists of 10 teams, with no relegation rules. Svendborg Rabbits
Svendborg Rabbits is a Danish professional basketball team, from Svendborg. The club currently plays in the Basketligaen, the top division of basketball in Denmark. The home ground of the club is the Svendborg Idrætscenter, nicknamed the ''Kaninhulen'' (English: The Rabbit Burrow). The team won gold in the best Danish basketball league in the 2009–10 season, silver in the 2006–07, 2007–08, 2008–09, 2010/11, 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons. Boldklubben Skjold af 1915 is a Danish football club based in Østerbro, Copenhagen- Founded in 1915, the club has over 1,400 members making it one of Denmark's biggest football clubs in terms of membership. BK Skjold's teams use either Fælledparken or Ryparken for their training sessions. In the 2011–2012 season Skjold played in the Danish 2nd Division West, the third-tier, due to a random draw after the promotions from the 4th tier league Danmarksserien resulted in an unbalance in teams playing in the East and West 2nd divisions. 18 teams were to play in the Danish 2nd Division East while only 14 teams were to play in the Danish 2nd Division West. Bakken Bears is a Danish professional basketball club based in Aarhus. The club plays in the Basketligaen, the top tier basketball league in Denmark. Bayer Giants Leverkusen is a professional basketball club, part of the TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen sports club based in Leverkusen, Germany.
